I would be fine with leaving it the same. Just thinking of what I would like to see if they go forward with changes.
People who raid both would benefit greatly, but if someone wants to only 10 man, the loot should good enough to clear the next raid tier 10 man.
Legendary items should be exclusive to 25’s.
um…maybe I’m misremembering, I think I am, but if you did 10 man naxx you couldn’t do 25man naxx.
But I think they changed this down the road so that you could do both versions.
But I don’t agree with this, there’s suppose a gearing difference between the 2 raid comp variants.
I do think the legendaries should be available in both difficulties, you just need to loot lock people to legendary fragments so you can only get them once per boss, per week, so no one is forced to run both raids. The only complication I can see with that is it could be unfairly punishing to players who raid 10’s first during the lockout since I’d assume the drop rate would be about 40% of what it is in 25’s to be fair.

Nah, they didn’t change that til Cata, in wrath 10 and 25s can both be done in 1 week.

Aren’t 25’s actually harder than 10’s?
Bosses hit harder. Bosses have more HP.
Extra mechanics.
Mechanics hit harder and are more punishing.
Though 10’s are certainly easier to manage and maintain an active roster, 10’s are simply easier than 25’s. Besides everything mentioned above, it is also managing 10 people vs 25.
Is this is on the thread of having 25’s ilvl drop in 10’s? and have ilvl of 10’s drop in 25’s?
Or is this on the topic of having only 1 lockout?
cuz i don’t really agree that you can kill Lich King on 10 Heroic & get 25Heroic loot.
