My computer is actually smaller than a toaster.
I use the Intel Hades Canyon from a few years ago;
It’s hitting 3 years old and is certainly far from the performance of newer computers but it runs WoW very well at 6 and Smite/FFXIV. I don’t think I’m going to replace it anytime soon.
Stable until mom or dad need to use the phone.
MacBook Pro 2020
For further context, I’m a Venthyr Arcane Mage.
is that what the M1 chip in the Mac Book 2020 stands for? rank 1 Mage?
Why shell out thousand bucks for 3060s? Just to play WoW? You can play Shadowlands on GTX1060.
286 running at 12 MHz (20 with the turbo button on!) with 2 megs of memory and a 40 meg hard drive! I even installed a SoundBlaster to give it nifty sounds…the only drag is that my 5¼" floppy drive is on the fritz and I can’t find anyone that sells them any more…
I’m cheap. Played BFA on a Ryzen 2400G, 16GB. Upgraded to using a Ryzen 2600 + GTX1060. Both with SSD though.
What’s RGB for? Does it make it go faster?
you clearly have been living under a rock…
the 20 series of cards are still in high demand due to the lack of any stock of the 30 series cards… the 2060 is the best card people can still get their hands on who are on a tight budget or refuse to shell out mega bucks on a pc component, that is still capable of still playing the latest game titles at a decent frame rate and has support for the latest features.
Needs more fans
Everyone knows RGB makes your perform pc faster
Also did you know that if you set your RBG to blue, your PC will run much cooler? Which in turn increases overall system performance as cooler gpu and cpu = higher boost speeds because Blue = Cold.
I thought that RGB stood for Red/Green/Blue - like my old VGA monitor I had with my first PC…

Yes, you heard it right. RGB makes your PC perform faster… People telling you otherwise are spreading rumors. Take computer RGB RAM for example, it needs more power in order to generate 16 million colors through RGB spectrum. It requires lot of power and hence the RGB ram has much more power as compared to normal RAMs. It’s like strapping a supercharger to a car’s engine more to make more power… Everyone knows more horsepower = faster.
Also when RAM lights up it emits lots of energy. 16 million colors is a huge number you know. You can’t even count it on fingers, no kidding. The energy emitted requires great amount of cooling. The blue light comes into play for cooling. I hope this helps massively as opposed to other not so bright answers. According to various private sources (g.skill, corsair, adata) you can expect 19.5% of performance increase as compared to any unlit RAMs.
Why isn’t your case RGB?
Their case is RGB by the looks of it. They just got the rgb set to white
i just got to link this now the gpu market is definitely out of control right now glad i got mine for retail price
lol i saw this video, i been enjoying all of this channel’s recent videos over the past couple months about intel, amd, nvidia, and cyberpunk. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inyX59IG3qM this one’s my fav xD love that little touch “out of stock” during the announcement slide
I am trying to find a computer that doesn’t look like unicorn rainbow vomit. Outlook these days isn’t so good…hic!
It’s true that displaying the innards of your PC, highlighted in unicorn rainbow vomit is all the rage, however, basic black cases are still available. Thankfully!
