Getting kicked to a different shard during the soup, or other events, should not be a thing. I’ve been dumped multiple times now from such events before they completed and not received credit for them. Once you are engaged in an event you should be locked to that shard for 10-15 minutes after the event is completed so you can reap your rewards. (I only say this long so people have time to fly down and kill Lancer.)
