More and more people are all calling for it to be banned while few actual ppl are defending it. And now it’s proven it doesn’t just parse chat like people tried to claim, making yet more people want this add on gone. Gg, add on won’t be around and good riddance.

It says something when it gets this much pushback from not only a large portion of the community but almost all streamers (personally don’t watch or like streamers on principle). GL trying to stop it being pulled…

I’m not really sure how to react to you… this is just very very sad.
Considering the devs included Metzen’s quote about the World in Warcraft being the main character in WoW (in their recent dev video), it would seem kind of backwards to allow an addon that removes the impact that world has in Classic. Please break this addon, devs. It’s already enough that we have to concede to legendary drops in P1, but LFG falls too far from the vision of Classic.

Twitter isn’t on “fire”, as most of the complaints are as vapid as the posts here and in other threads by the same folks. You dramatically mistake your voice if you think these boards are significant indicators of anything.

Nah, these boards, twitter, almost all streamers, discord. The vocal minority in any and all of these is people wanting it. I don’t see anywhere he said he was 50, but regardless him being 50 is supposed to be a bad thing somehow? Spoken like some zoomer kid or millenial. Let’s try to not do that. He’s spamming multiple threads with “I WIN GET BAN HAMMERED SON” so I called him a child. His retort was that he was 50 so he can’t be a child. He’s just a dumb troll.
And no, you don’t have a majority of anything as these boards, insular discord servers, and a few select streamers do not represent the bulk of players. The bulk of players say nothing at all in fact and Blizzard tracks play behavior. If you’ve been around as long as you say, having a 1k+ reply thread is small beans, and the same poster spreading the same posts throughout multiple threads doesn’t change that. The Tank Forums, one of the smallest during Wrath, had multiple threads that would dwarf this topic and then some… and they barely budged the Blizzard needle.
Just keep posting these and I’ll keep reporting them.

Technically the addon is still parsing chat for the auto-invite. That part of the addon still doesn’t get me up in arms. If I was advertising a wPvP raid or help to kill an elite quest. I am less likely to care about your level, class, or spec; in that specific case auto invite is cool.
If I am putting together a dungeon group, I wouldn’t use auto invite as I might be attempting to optimize my group for the content.
