Obviously the devs play mage as all three specs are in the top 6. Meanwhile Elemental and Enhance at the way bottom. Typical.
The rankings for this phase are going to completely get switched around next phase once new gear comes into play. A lot more valuable stats will be on those pieces. Enhancement shamans start getting a ton of mastery for example
Yeah, let’s look at WCL and ignore the fact that shamans contribute millions of damage on every encounter that isn’t attributed to them. Meanwhile top guilds have 5+ dps shamans in the raid.

every class is going to get more of whatever stat they desire, unless there is a miracle somewhere for enhance those stats aren’t going to outscale the stats that the top classes already get, i think u are more likely to go backwards as enhance
Why are you bringing that up, it doesn’t matter. Same thing as WCL not including skull banners which ele shamans also are of one of the most benefiting from, absolutely does not matter. WCL say that ele shamans are crap so we deserve buffs.
I demand buffs now.
I’m over here just being glad that the difference between the top spec and bottom spec is relatively small compared to previous expacs.
Unless you’re pushing bleeding edge progression, it really doesn’t matter.

Utility means you gotta be trash at your primary role. Welcome to the utility tax zone.
As an ele main we just have to much utility to be doing top tier DPS.
DPS seems to be relatively balanced tho.
The buff definitely helped us and we are really strong on 5 target fights like Elegon or Sha.
There’s a reason shamans are being stacked by pretty much everyone.
Tide and AG and totems are just so good.
If you aren’t using cap totem or tremor totem on some of these fights you’re absolutely trolling.
The crazy thing is, ele absolutely is not garbage at their primary role, they’re actually a pretty solid DPS not including their utilities.
Some folks just don’t realize when you chunk like 20k DPS from a ele shaman on logs (removing stormlash and skull banners), they look a lot worse
Tide is also massive.
and yet shamans are one of the most stacked classes in 25m because of stormlash totem
