You do know you have acess to a S tier spec right. And yes I said S tier. Ele shaman in pvp gear (not sure the rune set up) is unkillable. We had 3 dps on a shaman with MS and a pally we couldnt get him down. He legit ran from lm flag to farm flag and we couldnt kill him. If you have access to that and refuse to use it thats on you.
I would kill for an A tier spec even if it was prot/glad

the spec is cumbersome trying to actually do damage though and very limited by range unless youre cycling flametongue and rockbiter to get casts off but you lose the way of earth “protection” while you cycle and kinda kill the point of it.
people refuse to run it cause while its funny to see alliance flail at you uselessly , you cant really kill them with any quickness and is alot less dophamine inducing.
His damage wasnt crazy but he was holding his own and he single handedly won them the game because he could solo def and hold spin againts 3 guys consistently. Might not have the same burst but I would say that its more valuable being unkillable in bgs.

can be achieved for a little less time by a pally /warrior/druid tank with cooldowns and nearly any type of pally with bubble up.
also theres this new tech with warlocks who use immo aura and banish themselves on the flag and somehow the immo aura interrupts flag spinning so ya .
its just as annoying if not moreso.
exactly WITH COOL DOWNS. I can do what he did for 10 seconds every 5 mins. Same with pally. There needs to be a cool down tied to being that tanky.
lets be fair here, as a tank if you can only do it for 10 seconds every 5 mins, thats a performance issue and you should look into that .
quite honestly even with the base kit and no cooldowns it should take quite a while to kill you anyways if you are doing it right.
Yes because shield wall only last 10 seconds every 5 minutes. I cant take on 3 players and walk away at 100% uptime. Show me any warrior that can. They might be tanky but they dont have infinite health and mana. Mind you this is premade vs premade. So everyone is decked.
as much as i want to believe you (and i kinda half do) the amount of hyperbole that has gone on about shaman and the tall tales approaching mythical status has kinda jaded my view of shaman boasts and exaggerations.
you very well could be telling the truth and maybe missing something or shaman could actually for once be all that is advertised .

ill tell you what though, i will personally gear/spec/rune my shaman in the tank shaman thing this week and try it out and report back honestly.
This guy was def a cut above the normal ele shaman. Like I said im not sure what he was running maybe tank using ele spells.
But whatever he was doing I pray the rest of the shamans dont follow.
