Shamans are not getting reworked?

Just give us real defensives please. We can manage the rest.

Well, they didn’t say anything to hunters until RIGHT before their rework. They told them the patch beforehand “hey next patch is you”… which admittedly was odd for blizzard who rarely bothers to communicate.

Who knows, I’m not super excited at this point for TWW… Blizzard has really sapped the anticipation out of me.

same old song and dance. We were promised major overhauls 3 times now and didn’t receive them at all, going back to BFA.

They told hunters back in alpha that they weren’t going to get to them yet. So at least hunters knew that they were at least seen. Shaman haven’t even gotten a “we think you guys are fine” post, which is part of the problem.

Hunters got ONE post telling them that they were going to be in the next build. That, by itself, was abnormal for Blizzard, as anyone else has been absolutely surprised (pleasantly) by their reworks. Monks, DKs, etc, they all got them without warning.

Now, this is not to say that blizzard’s lack of communication or them not getting to certain classes until either the very end (or not at all) is ok. But to expect that they will communicate with your class…

You’re not a warlock.

Shamans are down bad in the current expansion.

Enhance is seeing rarely in raids and Elemental is rarely seen in m+

I can speak for elemental since it has been my main for a while. Icefury feels so horrible to play and i wish this spell never existed.

We bring basically zero utility and our defensives are almost non existent.

I gave up on elemental after season 3 and now im playing Shadow Priest…it is RIDICULOUS how much more i bring to the team and how much more versatile my defensives are.

Elemental is looking boring at best for TWW and i bet once again it will be a mediocre spec at best

You’ve gotta be kidding me. Enh had 4 lines of patch notes all of which were the simple plain removal of redundant talents that either didnt exist anymore or were moved meaninglessly from one tree to the other.

Enh didnt even get its talent tree slightly updated, it is identicate to before with the only change being Feral Lunge going baseline and the Flurry talent being put in its place.

What kind of joke is this? You guys have a few billion dollars, pay someone who’s played shaman for a decade to brainstorm some ideas and throw Shamans a bone. This is reprehensible to spend 2 years making an expansion and to just leave one of the specs completely unchanged.

Because believe us when the entire Shaman community says it, Shaman is NOT fine. Enh is NOT ok. It was ridiculously bad all expansion and it gets worse when you look at it from a PvP standpoint because its biggest strength is healing which dampening totally counters. Its strength is to extend the game until it loses because dampening removed its powerful utility.

Dampening should only effect healers btw. Not dps.

Enh is not ok. Shaman in general is pretty bad. Not updating it substantively for the third expansion in a row is so bad it reminds me of when you released the Legion expansion and Enhancement didnt have frostshock or earthbind totem, so it literally had no on demand means of slowing an enemy and had to rely on frostbrand auto attacks, which had a misschance, to apply a 3 second weak slow while everyone else had slows baked into their normal dps rotation.

Either delete the class or work on it, but dont ignore it. You make way too much money for that kind of excuse. Bad classes lower variety for everyone and make everyone’s experience cheaper.

I only play resto, but I thought people were saying enhance is pretty good now (not counting the version missmatch between live/beta)?

It is mostly good, with some visual exceptions and even fewer mechanical oddities. The person above you is venting about some pvp nonsense, from what I’ve gathered.

ENH sucks on beta for PvP. Does no damage. One of the worst DPS specs in PvP next to beast master hunter.

Saying it’s fine or good is just some PvE nonsense.
