Stop perpetuating this crap. All it does is make every sub-par enhance shaman insist they can tank, and convince every idiot along with them that it wonât be a waste of someoneâs time to try to let them tank a dungeon. If shaman were meant to tank, theyâd have a taunt and defensive cooldowns.

We had a resto shaman tank the mage on high king.
Thatâs not tanking.

A resto druid spamming moonfire isnât a dps, and an enhance casting chain heal isnât a healer.

Threat is a huge uphill battle for rogue tanks, this essentially puts them below Shaman Tanks. The barrier of entry for legit rogue raid tanking is very high. Youâd need everything working as much as possible for you (going Alliance, favorable group comp, etc.)
All that in mind, itâs one of the few last remaining exciting specs to play that gets your heart pumping and forces you to think about a fight.

Good to see the dream alive mate. The dream is pretty dead for me since Iâm on a dead server full of bad players (the kind of people who believe that using a sub-optimal spec means they canât clear 17 year old content) but I 'm happy for you that you know some cool people that will let you do what you enjoy and what clearly works.
As for the sooks complaining about sub-optimal specs in an easy 17 year old game that takes no skill or brain to play as itâs a solved game and a relic of the past; good to see youâre still getting mad that youâre bad.
