ziqo videos are old hybrid build videos hes playing a Firestar build that does nothing but stack defense and wait on lava procs while you shock and auto attack in the meantime. Moomkins can melt him if they can stay away from him. That video is old, its before the healing nerf.

rogue is S tier in regular level 60 Classic as a Sub/Asa mix. Pallies as a well played Reckoning can perform as near to the top. I have a pally. I know how to play it. Like yea rogues do great in WPvP because they can legit stun lock you until death. See this old YT vid of some green geared rogue wrecking people back to back in WPvP who had full epics simply by using stunlocks and then breaking away when DR became a problem. Then came back when CDs were up. Then I saw him get wrecked by an orc warrior.

Honestly i get more utility out of bopping casters then my own bubble, melee know to run while im bubbled, they dont know how to counter a physical immune boomy thats the real op ability there it just gets underutilized
The video’s were not old, they were literally the day after the nerf that’s why i watched him. The duel tournament yesterday had Shamans beat all boomkins in every matchup they met in a 14 hour tournament. Just because you think you know something, doesn’t mean you are right.
Duels are a completely different “mi·cro·cosm” of competitive gameplay, though.
The shaman is only a fraction as powerful as the balance druid after you introduce a PvP gameplay objective and/or the support of somewhere between 9-39 other players into their environment.
There is absolutely a valid point to differentiate between a 1v1 (which is rarely the case) and world/bg pvp which is most of SoD, but that is not what this discussion was about.
This is the biggest gaslighting post of the month and the reason WoW has turned to poop. The same group of incompetents consistently post from 20 lvl alts to maintain this Shaman propaganda going since phase 1. Paladins are way stronger than shamans, so are boomies and several other classes are on equal footing.
Notice how each and every post refuses to elaborate or list any actual gameplay comparisons since they virtually have no idea what they’re trying to prove besides reciting their copy-pasted rants. Zirene & Bliz take their feedback from these clowns and have allowed these forum “pressure groups” to be relevant by listening to this nonsense.
Bonus content, ele shaman is now Mid tier at PvP (enha is trash) and both Enha and Ele are bottom tier in PvE.
You can fool Zirene and the rest of these “devs” but that’s all you can do. Rest of us luckily have eyes and common sense. Can’t wait for SOD to be over and never spend another dollar on blizzard.

If an Ele can’t beat a Ret 1v1 then Ret has no counters left. Anything else you sprout besides this fact is just gas. We can care less if your lvl 50 and early level 60 PvP content was not balanced to your liking. Shaman was always strong baseline, even more so with LvB. I am not advocating for boomie/ret nerfs, but with their current strength nerfing shamans (again) is unheard of.
Enha is not a viable class anymore, Ele cannot get a proper PvE setup because o forums trolls tears while literally every single HP-R12/13 piece and ALL PvE items help other classes against Nature/fire and Burst. Show me the arcane resistance in T2 and T1, show me the holy resistance in PvP gear. You clowns claim LvB crits for a ton when in fact we hit for 1200 average, if lucky.
On top, all our scaling is intellect (PvE set) so we’re not improving as each hunt/rogue and ret out there stack AP and Weapon damage, not to mention healing.
Ele always start strong and falls off towards the mid-end of the phase.
It’s Y’ALLS ignorance that has us defending our class for 1 year straight from your BS comments.
Almost like the shamans arent op gaslighting for 3 phases.

I specifically said I’m not advocating for ret nerfs. If you read my post instead of validating my take that you guys just copy paste the same BS since P1, you wouldn’t make a fool of yourself.
Not to mention, even if I was, this is supposedly the finished stage of the game. Paladins / Boomies are clearly stronger, yet once again, shamans are getting nerfed. LvL 40-50 shaman spikes incredibly. We sucked in P1 and most of P2 but I didn;t see any shaman spamming the forums to nerf everyone else.

I dont feel shamans should be able to 3v1, its quite strong. Did you see them in the duel tourny? 2nd!!! And they had to nerf them just to make it fair. Didnt nerf any other class.
All these people calling for paladin / hunter / boomy nerfs are way off. Shaman is at the top.
I agree that enh needs some buffs and ele pve definitely. If you still feel that ele is bad in PvP then maybe WoW just isnt for you? not trying to be mean here but they are literally one of the best in PvP proven time and time again from ziqo streaming it and the duel tournament yesterday. many of them who were also enha specced.

Duel tourny was in a bg
