These forms only suit a zandalari troll shaman… Why in gods name my dwarf, tauren or orc gnna turn into this? It should just turn you into an elemental. Think an ethereal body but just fire or wind or water. Or better yet an actual elemental… BUT THIS? Why dear god.

If you don’t know, they announced new Ascendant models.
You can see the official models already, kinda look like the Fire Daemon Avatar from suicide squad.
It’s fine, just think of it as a universal avatar of fire. It doesn’t have to be race specific. We’re not intended to get the love Druids do, and you would know that if you played the last 20 years.
Accept the breadcrumbs they give Shama, or choose Fury Warrior, like me, and move on.
Shaman will only ever frustrate you in the long run. It’s time for you to pick a class that is a community favorite, holy trinity class, or a Blizzard favorite (hunters).

Agreed. I don’t get it. They have this dope animation during the Kurog Grimtotem fight where he’s hovering with the elements circling him. Visually very cool, and thematically rad yet they spend time making these…? Just give us that! The problem with the old ascendance model wasn’t that it was dated, it was that it was the ascendance model. It was never wanted. It hasn’t fit the vibe from the get go.

I did notice that they said something about more to come with ascendence … hopefully that means glyphs!
We’ll have additional adjustments you can look forward to for Ascendance, just keep an eye out for the PTR update notes in the days ahead

I was actually looking to try Shaman because I saw that new Ascended form. Din’t think long time vet shamas hated it…
Well, I hope they at least let me use this new form as a glyph if they decide to change it to what Shaman players want (I have not tried shaman or even think of trying it until now so I won’t argue why it does or not fit)…
I really like this new form… it reminded me of a Mix of Oni Akuma from street fighter, Dabi in his last form in Hero Academia and a bit of Elder Ring Starscourge Radahn if only it had its hair longer like some other player pointed out in another post!
I be using it as a glyph if they add that option for sure if Blizz decides to change it to something the Shaman players want, unless that something else looks even better! lol
