As a Zandy main, um no. I am not impressed with these. I would prefer that I turn into an elemental empowered version of my character, not a random elemental form that some dev decided is the form of an ascended elemental.
Yes, this too! With all the amazing new elemental models we have, you could even add to the glyph system or customization like Druid forms in barber shop.
Lastly, this reveal was so anti-climatic.

My excitement was so hyped for Shaman Tank? 2h Enhancement? Spirit wolves for all three specs? unique race models for ghost wolf travel form? Nope, we get “high rez version of the unpopular ascendance form.”
With the amazing response Blizzard had to the communities feed back on Hero Talents, why oh why did they not hit up the Shaman community about this first. Missed opportunity.

what blizz needs to do is just add a system like the boomkins have and allow people to change into any kind of form they want that would solve alot of issues for some people hating and liking certain things

I totally agree. I would rather have something akin to Dathea from Vault of the Incarnates or an actual elemental rather than whatever the new model is supposed to be.

Blizzard is out of touch with what shaman even are. It never made sense that we transformed into twilight cultists. We are the good guys. But they didn’t listen at all to feedback and doubled down on this twilight theme.
I just want to repeat once more blizzard.
Dathea Ascended. You gave a raid boss way cooler visuals than your players.

Is this good or bad?
The new forms look TERRIBLE. Even the original models were bad, but this is a complete downgrade imo. I seriously don’t get why shamans can’t just have a glyph so we can just use our actual character instead with some sort of avatar effect like warriors have or glyph of stars sort of situation.
It’s certainly out of touch with my vision of the shaman class fantasy. I haven’t touched the talent in a very long time because I don’t like the current model, and this one, while hi-res, doesn’t look any better to me. Hopefully they decide to give us access to the glyph that was removed a while back and at least let us opt out of any full transformation effect.
