And I agree Shadow is horrible and I never use it I use Holy/disc for questing
People still play shadow priests? Get on that fotm reroll and go fire mage. Lol
I tried Disc for questing in Legion. Felt like a LOT of downtime due to the fact most spells were small damage + DoT.
Now they might have changed things since then ⌠just my experience.
My only hope (not holding my breath) is that blizzard hasnât finished doing their work on all the specs. I doubt thatâs true, but I can hold out hope. I want to melt faces with my Dwarf Priest again!
Iâve played priest since vanilla. Warocks were always right over there. And I made one too.
I also happen to have a mage. Shaman. Monk. Druid. Iâve got all the casters. Holy Pally. Etc.
I donât like void form thank you very much.

I will agree that early on sPriest did feel like a budget warlock. But, I felt that they got it âabout rightâ with the shadow orb system. The abilities had impact, and while they did have a good amount of DoTs, they also had direct damage. It was a nice design that worked.

Seems a lot of people are saying shadow orbs was the best system. It wasnât perfect, but it worked. And sometimes thatâs all you need.

Oh I hate Disc to it just does more dps than holy questing is the only thing I use it for everything else in the game is completely just holy spec
Is Discipline viable for say leveling in BFA content? Iâm pondering maybe leveling my priest from 110 to 120 but I just canât stand Shadow

Yes, Iâve played shadow off and on since tbc. Orbs was one of my least favorite, wod was ok but nothing is like the rush of trying to stay in vf as long as possible.

Well, youâre in the minority. You like the thrill, many donât. Not just that, its problematic in Dungeons & Raids. Outside of a talent, if you need to be in VF for a damage phase, youâre out of luck unless youâve been building Insanity just for it. Unlike other classes that have a DPS CD, sPriestâs Burst option isnât on demand, you have to build up to getting it. Which can be detrimental to your DPS.

Honestly, if Voidform was just a 3 min CD that didnât require a resource build, and gave us access to a few extra abilities along with that sweet AOE burst at the beginning, I could live with that.

If they turned it into a burst CD ⌠much like other classes have ⌠Iâd be ok with it as well.
So long as it was actual BURST damage and not âok, 60% of your total damage is only while in void form, which is on a 3 min CDâ sort of BS.

Many donât. And sPriest has suffered since they introduced voidform.
Also, there are a number who donât like the thematic change from bad boy of the priesthood to rabid void worshipping cultist.
