I never heard that, but I’ll inform you of the same thing. The comment you’re responding to was 9 months ago. New information has come out since. I’ve been beta testing and such. Old content still flops without a problem. The only issue involving old content in my mind is that nothing drops anymore.
Scaling is all over the place on the PTR. Don’t know what they intend to be honest.
Time will tell.
I honestly thought this was a new thread by Ralph, but it’s an old thread from 2019. Who have bumped this?
Also, a Ralph Thread from 2019 and it’s… not a ralph thread?
Huh, so in Shadowlands, you can still solo old raids at 60?
To be fair, at least it’s leagues better then his usual threads now a days where he needlessly insert “Tryhard” whenever he can. This thread i can safely say it’s coming from a genuine place. Or as genuine you can get with Ralph.
oh, look. another the sky is falling garbage thread
you will be fine
blizzard is well aware a large portion of the player base spends a lot of time farming old raids
I just solo’d M Iron Reaver (Hellfire Citadel) and it was a cakewalk, just a few seconds. I tried soloing M NH on a level 60 premade Fury Warrior in the premade gear (ilvl 138, normal dungeon gear is ilvl 158) and Skorpyron was like trying to solo one of those rare elite WQs in the BFA zones like https://www.wowhead.com/quest=51157/golanar
when you are at ilvl 410 maybe? I dunno, everyone is different but it wasn’t hard it was just taking forever so I quit. Once you’re in probably M0 it’ll be a bit quicker.
What I don’t understand is how the legacy damage thing works. I thought it was more damage if you’re 11 levels or higher than a mob but soloing M Skorpyron didn’t seem that way. Skorp was 46 I was 60 so 14 level difference.
The scaling must change for legacy because of the squish. 11 levels higher applies to live client for the most part. With the squish adjustments must be made.
That said there is apparently a huge nerf to raw gold income from old raids so they will be much less lucrative.
Necroing Ralph threads. You love to see it.
