I havent visited these forums in a long time lol and it’s good to see the new trend is bad players blaming gear instead of premades.

Systemlands make or break moment will be with the first patch IMO but you can stretch it out with the second patch.
The key is that BlizZard does not add any more rental systems or borrowed power that forces PVP players to grind more PVE to just participate in PVP.

223 item lvl mage, 225 item lvl hunter, full pvp gear, and pvp gear is the best in the game.

Long time, no see.
Don’t worry, there is still much complaints about premades. It’s like the last 4 expansions “issue” have been condensed into the current forum complaints of premades with geared.
Shadowlands much fun. I have done very little pve, and only do it for fun with friends.

Yeah I pretty much missed the last two expansions lol. Mostly came back because the plague made it so I had nothing to do.
I did play some BfA, but this has been way more fun.

I think they said that this is it for systems, and they will only be adding to the ones we have. So we can assume more conduits, maybe new soul bind trees, or likely deeper soul bind trees. New legos, and maybe equipping two legos like in legion. All of the obvious stuff most likely will happen.
overall, i don’t mind it

Welcome back Pingaz!
Coming out of bfa and having to take a couple month break before shadowlands, my expectations were fairly low (high hopes tho). Seeing all the systems, I was sure we’d have to pve just as much if not more than bfa. Now a couple months in, I regret committing to a raid roster since there is little reason to pve right now. Rbgs have been insanely fun. Arena is super sweaty but it’s still fun too. It’s a pretty good expansion so far.

I’m sure it’s still the honeymoon phase (since I haven’t really done any PvE of note since wrath) but I’m enjoying raid nights.
RBG is the most fun though. Hands down.
Raiding and our group isn’t bad. I didn’t mean it like that. The group we have going is actually pretty fun. It’s more time constraints and prioritizing things I enjoy most. There’s some weeks where I maybe get 10 arena matches in and 0 random bgs since I’m raiding or getting sucked into a guild dungeon run. I’d rather put my time to pvp than pve is all.

So far so good. Everything feels fun and thematic. I would enjoy having our importance in the story toned down a bit to play up the fact that we are in a different plane of existence, however there was at least an intent to provide some enjoyment to the playerbase. Would like to see classes better balanced and covenants adjusted so that a class could pick any of the four and feel like their power hasn’t been impacted by that decision.

Yeah, between raid nights, RBG nights, M+ And family time I don’t get to do near enough just good ol fashioned unranked BGs.
Maybe I’ll skip M+ this week to get some BGs in. Don’t tell the boss.

I think the actual pvp is super fun. I do not enjoy the chores I have to do in order to get a character to a competitive level in order to have fun… torghast, campaign, renown etc.
The good outweighs the bad I think. But I really want to play alts and the task of gearing them is daunting, I don’t have that much time anymore lol

You have hated this expansion since it was announced man. I find it hard to see you as being objective at all in regards to Shadowlands.
I’ve skipped M+ entirely now the time vs reward ratio isn’t the best imo.
Especially considering 1600 is super achieveable (More so in RBGs atm) so 213 ilvl gear is easy to get.
