Someone on discord is translating the French Interview. Here’s what they had:
No Renown past 80
Zereth Mortis is around the size of Nazjatar, much bigger than Korthia
They’re still testing multiple M+ affixes, so no info yet
You’ll only be able to equip a covenant legendary and another legendary
They will add more cosmetics to Torghast, but they don’t want people to feel like they have to do Torghast, as we’ve moved on from the Maw
No new class/race combos in 9.2, but are considering it later. They specifically mention Void Elf Paladins as a reference, apparently.
No new heritage armor in 9.2.
Ion says they believe players should always have something to do, so they’re working on making more content available more often.
No new race customizations in 9.2.
Ion is dodging the question about if Nathanos will be in 9.2, or if they’ll explain the link between Kil Jaeden, the Lich King, and the Jailer.
Sylvanas will be a key player in 9.2.
They “may” explain how death works for the Dreadlords. (I assume they will since they mention dreadlords are a boss in the raid)
Denathrius might be seen again.

I like the Tier designs overall, I do think you guys could have done a might better with making them more obvious of which goes with which class while keeping the overall SL theme.
They should probably take it out of the Emissary rotation, then.

Remember that the Jailer Sequases are free, it is not known which one would have come out a cliffhanger moment that would be interesting.
However, you would be right, but otherwise, Blizzard drowns a character and ends it in a disappointingly anticlimactic moment where nothing happened, and it was nothing, just there, just for expansion.
Which makes it more disappointing to characters that previously showed a much greater fear than these new lore that they incorporated in Shadowlands, and much more mysterious that made lore exciting during Vanilla and the first 2 expansions.
Something like seeing Mue’zhalla and the threat that arose when meeting him in Zul’Farrak.
But now like BfA and the old gods we see another small-time villain in which he was only defeated, and that’s it…
That is why I fear that the expansion will give us hollow lords like BfA and it will not be remembered well for people who agree on the role of the game, something like it was with the Warlords of Draenor that in the end was not the main ones and they lost little by little. little their prominence as they did the same to the Lich King as their expansion.
And to indicate that this is the last patch, it is not satisfactory for the company when we already know that ending it in X.2 is bad luck.

That is to be Nightfae for my Havoc, and to be Venthyr for my Vengeance.
as long as your renown is reached at 80 depending on which covenant you chose in 9.1.5

It still cracks me up that this storyline involves:
“We must defend the sigils at all costs!” to
“Whelp, he has all the sigils…” to
“No problem, here we’ll make a bunch of new ones, super easy, barely an inconvenience”
as well as:
Tyrande: “Elune - give me your power!”
Elune: “Sure, here ya go Night Warrior”
…later…
Tyrande: “Now you die Sylvanas!”
Elune: “Psyche!”

Oh god, remember the “do you guy not have phone?” Ion is explaining that most of the people have a Smartphone or could have the physical Authenticator to justify the fact that we need one to write a text in the group search.
They are looking for way to make this protection universal for all account.

Like, how were we even supposed to form the Night Fae sigil if it required Elune’s power as well?
The Primus knew the Winter QUeen and Elune had a falling out, he said so much when we returned to Korthia after that quest.
So why the hell did he think we’d be able to reform the sigil?

I have to say, I’m not very excited by this announcement. It came across like someone offering me a cup of tea made in water at room temperature.
I have grown frustrated with zones being unlocked via systems and systems put in place to constrain player power. I’m nervous that a lot of what I am seeing here in the preview looks like just more of the same from Blizzard. It seems like the same things we’ve seen before wrapped in a different package.
Story-wise, I’m very concerned. As someone who is old enough to have grown up in the Orcs vs Humans days of Blizzard, I don’t want to see things etched in canon (like Arthas) “wrapped up” by this patch. Those stories are already wrapped up and should be left alone. Why is this patch suddenly going back to wrap up content from decades ago? This isn’t End Walker and it doesn’t feel nearly as connected or planned. It feels rushed.
I hope characters like Arthas and Sylvanas aren’t ruined by this. I don’t want to see for example Sylvanas suddenly joining the Alliance now that she has her soul back or Arthas becoming the Arbiter. That would be awful.
I am trying to remain open-minded and optimistic but it’s just really hard given Blizzard’s history over the last five years. But yeah… yikes.
