Right? I thought they might wait until August 31 to screw with New World’s release.

You are stating extremely normal things as being alarming for 9.1.

The patch having a name, despite that being a thing since vanilla.

Or the patch being early despite its PTR length the same as almost every raid patch.

Did I state those things?

Or was there something else there, about dev time being overburdened by a business team, and marketing being more important than quality.

You are connecting very normal things for every single patch as some sort of insidious reaching from their business and marketing team beyond what is normal for a patch.

Is what I see.

Those being releasing it early despite its 11 week PTR cycle being normal.

Them pushing the patch name, despite them calling every raid patch by its name since vanilla.

Ooo I likey.

Actually one did – the Chinese streamer who supposedly spoke to NetEase staff and got the release date for 9.1 in China as July 1st.

Literally Bellular reported on this too.

It’s just weird to me that instead of using the mode as a legitimate tutorial or practice for the raid mechanics they use LFR as a carrot for casual players.

Personally I would be fine with it not rewarding loot just to have a mode where I can get comfortable with the boss mechanics. We’re allowed to practice our rotations on target dummies but there is no other means of practice outside of going in with players who are gonna rage the moment we wipe.

I used to use it as a tutorial when I was doing harder raids but the last time I raided hard was WoD then changes in real life made that hard to do and BfA and SL have gotten me to the point where I don’t give a rotund rodents rectum about doing anything above lfr.

Didn’t I read that the loot is capped at 226 or was that the mega-dungeon only?

that was the mega dungeon

This is a good question! Bump.

Can someone please tell me if it was a typo that said “Season 2 also brings with it Torghast, Tower of the Damned Layer 10”

Until raid releases yeah all loot will probably be capped at 226.

Awesome! Great news seeing that there is an official launch date for 9.1 now. I’m so glad I pretty much got every Anima item from the vendors from my Night Fae Covenant.

Only missing (1) item from the Renown vendor which costs 3,500 Anima and (50) Grateful Offerings. Other item I’m missing is the last transmog set which costs 25,000 Anima.

Other than that, All ready to buy the new rewards being added in 9.1.
