Shadowlands still bugged?

So i go to oribos with my rogue, and i still cant skip anything and no vendors are anywhere? cant go to the maw, cant skip nothing, no flight guy nothing. anyone else having same issue?

thats unfortunate, my buddy that was bugged for months is able to skip now. wonder if its just certain accounts.

I tried it out and my alt was able to access the campaign unlike before. But now there’s no option at all to skip when they removed Threads of Fate which sucks for farming SL items, have to do the whole campaign on all of my alts if I wanted to which I won’t do as that’s a massive waste of time.

It sucks because they supposedly removed the skip in DF, but it was actually available to use for a time until they finally killed it in TWW.

so i had to go to orgrimmar and get the startup quest and i skipped maw and it brought me to oribos, then you follow dudes to the table and you can skip it all.

It appears to be sort of random; sometimes it works for people and sometimes it doesn’t. I’m finding it difficult to figure out what the common denominators are for it because of this seeing random thing that it works for some and not others.

Oh interesting, you’re right. Kah-Delen offers a skip now. :eyes:

I know people figured out that level 60’s and ONLY level 60’s could still access the Threads of Fate skip after the bug happened. You just had to do the chromie time stuff.

By the sounds of it that might still be the case.

This isn’t about threads of fate.

After TWW launch the Shadowlands campaign was broken: if you’ve out-leveled Chromie time you weren’t able to do anything after arriving in Oribos, the follow up quest was missing and there was no work-around.

The “skip” is if you chose to bypass the Shadowlands intro quests in the Maw and go straight to Oribos which you could do on any new character after having done the intro quests once–which was also broken in TWW.

Blizz said a fix would be in this patch but I haven’t gone back to check yet.

I have not tested one of my characters that was previously stuck in the broken Oribos phase, but on a fresh 70 remix alt that had never started SL, I took the ‘skip Maw’ option from the quest in Stormwind (A Chilling Summons), got dropped in Oribos out by the portals with an auto quest (Stranger in a Strange Land) to accept, then inside I was offered a ‘skip level up campaign’ option.

I also went back to Oribos on a character (level 80) that could not get the skip to work at all in early DF and was stuck on the level-up campaign with the quest to travel to Bastion, found the NPCs in the main room with the covenants and all, one had the same ‘skip level up campaign’ option.

Both of these characters can choose a covenant, open ZM, and access all the Oribos stuff (access Maw, flightmaster present).

Looks fixed: took a character who chose the intro quest skip last month and couldn’t progress. Going through the Oribos portal immediately gave “Stranger in a Strange Land” and I’m able to continue the campaign.

Now they just have to fix the Tormentors of Torghast and Wrath of the Jailer events. Again.
