People I’d be cool with dying -
Horde:
1.) Thrall - Give him a big emotional send off, a huge finale, and then never mention him again please.
2.) Baine - let him reunite with his parents, then stay there.
3.) Lorthimar - have Kaelthas and him swap places.
Alliance:
1.) Jaina - She’s had her story arc, big time, I think it would make sense for her tonheroically sacrifice herself for her people.
2.) Genn - As others have said, he has death flags already, and I could easily see his obsession with Sylvanas leaving him hunting for her in the Shadowlands.
3.) Tyrande - similar reasons to Genn.
I actually feel like Anduin’s story isn’t developed enough for it to be ending yet. Also, while Sylvanas story is probably near its end, I don’t think she has to die for it to be concluded, she just has to be trapped in the Shadowlands. (I don’t think she would necissarily willingly return to the land of the living at this point, but that’s neither here nor there.)

Hopefully they won’t knock off another horde leader as its becoming kinda predictable… Im guessing its probably gonna be Tyrande. I just have a feeling.
Off topic a little: They should for sure use this as an opportunity to get some characters back that have died… Id love to see Kael plot his escape from the shadowlands and back in the the land of living(ish?). So many story lines could open up if they do this the right way.

Lorethemar (even though in dont want it)/liadrin (even though i dont want it): edgy vampire guys

Just an opinion, getting rid of Tyrande will be the most stupid thing blizz. could do at this point, considering what the nelves have lost. And getting rid of Genn because he’s long in the tooth is so cliche. So too for Jaina because her story arc is finished.
Maybe characters that have connections to both factions would be better, like Khadgar and Alexstrasza.

While I do agree Thrall will go to Bastion once he dies, I think he’ll be in Maldraxxus throughout Shadowlands hanging out with his mom. That or he gets stuck in the Maw, giving his mom reason to go save him and unite the Covenants.
I don’t like the reasoning for killing off Genn and Tyrande. Your viewpoint basically boils down to the leaders of the races who were victims of genocide by Sylvanas should die because they want retribution for what happened to their people… that’s asinine.

Thrall is no longer a Shaman. Also Night Fae is more along the lines of Druidism. Not the elements.
Okay so according to blizzard the reason we can go back n forth thru the shadowlands is our souls are special but it sounds like anyone joining us would be dead and somehow rezzed if they come back with us, anyone left behind stays dead, Anduin MAAAYYY be the link for others to come back seeing how he raises the dead.
That is fair, but that is also why I think Geyarah would go to Maldraxxus. I think the interactions between her and her AU mother would be interesting.
I am honestly kinda hesitant to say thrall would even be willing to go vs fall into the background again. Sure he “cant hide” anymore. But he can sure become a guy standing in orgrimmar giving level 10 orcs a quest.
thrall is still a shaman still has power, he just refuses to use them because he is ashamed of what he did on draenor. Night fae may be able to fix his mindset

No. Others also have a connection to Azeroth and can escape the Maw. Our goal in the expansion is to defeat the Jailer and rescue everyone trapped in the Maw.
Thrall is a Warrior. His doom hammer is gone. His wolf? Dead. There’s nothing shaman left in him.
Again. Night Fae deal with Druidism. Not Shamanism.
idk why everyone says defeat the jailer… bruh fr he is chained up meaning he did not break death cycles or is the reason everything goes to the maw FR that’s like saying a guy buried alive under a prison is going on a rampage burning down the rain forest

The Jailer is still doing stuff. And as you can tell in the features trailer, he’s free.
