Feels more like BFA/Legion to me minus the fun. I liked WoD, I hate Shadowlands.
Yeah, me too. I miss the pre-legion days.
honestly the first tier of WOD was great, the leveling was awesome the zones were good the garrison was a nice addition everyone thought was leading to player housing. WOD only failed because they over promised on an expansion every year which they quickly realized they couldnt possibly do without it being trashâŚWOD had alot of its content abandoned so it could launch and ended up living way past its content cycles.
SL is by far worst then WOD in its first tier, id say worst then any first tier we have seen yet. its amplified by BFA generally not being liked, everyone was expecting so much better but we just got more of the same. Historically speaking blizz has never before now launched a bad expansion and followed it up with a worst one. im sure there is some panic going on at blizz right now and i hope that helps it turn around cause i dont think alot of people will be around for a 3rd poor xpac.
They should nix 9.3 and give us a better next xpac
thats kinda what they did with WOD and people were pissed. we did end up with a pretty good one in Legion out of it though.
Boy a lot of us where right even to the point that WOW has lost its top spot of most played mmorpg according to educated speculation.
Itâs not even raid or die. More like, do mythic raids or die. Difference in item level between a heroic and mythic raid is too high imo. Same with normal and heroic though too
I agree with you now that we have got to see what Shadowlands is going to be about now. I made this thread before Shadowlands launched. In my opinion Shadowlands locked 85 percent of the player base in sub 210 item level. It really didnât take much intelligence to see that Shadowlands would fail miserably. Even the new mega dungeon is only going to reward 226 in 9.1. I have no idea why Blizz is doing this to players.

how does this dribble have 200 likes rofl
you can get normal-raid level item from world quest, mission table , and other stuff you canâT fail ( well, chain-losing BGs).
this literally invalidate normal dungeon, heroic dungeon, mythic 0 through 6, and LFR gear-wise⌠and itâs only 3 ilvl away from invalidating normal mode raid, mythic 7-8-9 and sub 1400 rated PvP.
as a side result, you have people utterly clueless about how to play joining up M7âs and the experience is horrible both for them and the rest of the group.
how much more do you want from tourist-mode content?
it used tobe 15 ilvl⌠itâs now 13âŚ
and 226 gear is easily obtainable with M15s weeklies ( cause, you know, castle nathria donât have a properly itemized item for half of your slots)
What hilarious is our game is in a dumpster fire right now and there are still people that want to hammer home the very thing contributing to said fire. Your going to get the game and the player base you deserve. RuneScape is still active, think about that for a second.
oh, the playerbase is shrinking not because itâs a 16 years old game thatâs not getting new blood.
but because who do the easiest content in the game donât get the best loot in the game.
right.
Well thanksfully not all opinion are made equal!
yes, runescape and Everquest 1 are still alive. with a skeleton playerbase that apparently wonât ever go anywhere because they donât know anythingelse.
what expansion was the best ilvl gear obtainable without raiding?
TITANFORGING was what kept gear progression going.
exactly no point to world quests after the first week
Oh, thereâs a point. Grind anima to unlock sanctum features or purchase virtually any mogs, mounts, toys, etc.

OP was wrong when they wrote this thread and itâs still wrong as they bumped it. lol
Shadowlands will never be as good as shadowbringers.
If WoD had M+ and World Quests, it wouldâve had just as much content to do. The only difference is that the garrison was far more interesting than the covenant sanctums.
Youâre offending WoD by comparing this horrible mess of an expansion thatâs SL to it.
