Shadowlands looks like WOD 2.0

Im just curious did you actually log in and see how wod killed itself with garrisons and raiding. That is where the term RAID or DIE came from. It was literally WOWs holocaust expansion. The game went from 15 million subs to almost nothing in 1 year. It was so bad blizz stopped reporting sub numbers.

Yeah, and no xpac had been raid or die since. Just because you don’t want to do the stuff the game offers, doesn’t make it raid or die.

Oh baby there is a ton of beta players on youtube and google saying Shadowlands is a raid or die expansion and it worries them. They also pretty much killed mythic plus by making it less rewarding compared to raids. And trust people loved mythic plus.

No, there’s not. M+ still has good gear and gets max level gear in the weekly. So again, you have no idea what you’re taking about.

All you have to do is google shadowlands raid or die and mythic plus loot nerfs and you will get a nice taste of what I am talking about.

Starting a post off with such an incredibly stupid statement doesn’t make people want to read it

Wrong, it did not have 15 mill subs but nice try, please use facts vs nonsense

Good thing I don’t raid anymore.

I dont think people care for the gear (unless they are a fresh level 50 and severely undergeared), rather it’s the 34 slot bag, mount, and other goodies that people mostly care about.

Will we stay in our covenant hub doing everything without leave it? Like mining, herbalism and profession stuff? Is there any world quest to do? Have they removed the m+? If the answer is no then it’s not a wod 2.0

SL looks like it will have issues granted, but it will NOT have WoD issues or “raid or die” issues.

All Blizz did was finally turn off the stupid loot fountain, and that is a good thing for the long term health of the game. M+ still exists. PvP still exists. There is Covenant gear available. The gear is there.

just google it bro.

SL is a “hardcore casual” expansion. A hardcore player don’t have to log in everyday grind for a ap this time, but a casual, if he want every cosmetic reward as soon as possible he’ll have to grind for anima, doing a lot of wq, to buy the cosmetics and level up his covenant.

To be fair, a lot of that loss was to be expected. It spiked enormously right at release (like well beyond other expats) with loads of older players returning to see fan favorite lore characters. Definitely not defending WoD, but a lot of that loss was inevitable as the people who returned, returned to a game that is in no way the same as the one they left.

The gear you can buy is a reused asset from bfa tons of people are disappointed. And the the tmog from the rares is weak and low effort.

M+ end of dungeon loot is not what make it strong, it becomes irrelevant after less than a month into the tier. What matters is the weekly chest(vault in shadowlands) and they buff it.

You are going to be getting more consistent upgrade from it, so you can easily be mythic raid geared without ever stepping into a raid.

The main issue is that people fail to keep in mind that this event is a 2 week event, has new dailies each day, so plenty of opportunities to be around when rares are up… but instead these people expect to complete the entire job lot in one go.

SL is WoD but finished content with some extra…
And the jailer looks like some random marvel comics bad guy. Instead of looking like a soul reaper in diablo!

I know exactly what you’re talking about. You are wrong.

Doesn’t M+ still have its weekly chest offering Mythic level loot?

What’s the problem exactly?
