Shadowlands is eternal hell and it SUCKS!

WOW after life is jacked up.

  • In Bastion you lose your identity and the memories that make you, you for a purpose they don’t fully explain.

  • Maldraxxus is an eternal combat zone where you’re a Soldier that protects hell (Shadowlands) from domestic and foreign threats. To top it all off you have a high chance of truly dying there

  • Ardenweald if you’re a mortal soul you become a spirit animal living out your days feeding the Wild Seeds of Demigods and Wild Gods who passed away waiting to be born again. Your anima fuels the gods of this realm as you slowly become food for the reborn.

  • Revendreth you’re tortured and drained of your anima for centuries to become good and obedient by those who probably committed worse atrocities. If you don’t become obedient your tossed in another lower level of hell to be tortured for eternity.

The Maw is Hell and an endless place of torture and agony.

Now I understand why Sylvanas did what she did.

Heaven doesn’t exist in WOW, our souls are not ours, we do not have a say in our after life, there is no choice.

Where is Heaven in WOW?

Just go to the fluffy puppy afterlife, that’s the best one.

This all depends on ones own version of “Heaven”. Ardenweald Is about as good as I could think for myself. Even though I’m still waiting to see the Winter Queen develop as a character. She seems a bit mysterious and could go any direction.

You mean Barren Chat?

I think she is evil, I don’t think she really cares for the mortal souls living in her forest because we’re just food for the eternal cycle of the reborn.

I think I read somewhere that these zones are only some that are located in the shadowlands?

“Heaven” is probably a zone we haven’t seen yet.

The lack of response on Her face In the Quests so far Is concerning. On one hand she seems legit. But then she Slaps down Bwonsumbdi right after he did some big help for Ardenweald. I predict In the Future there will require a deal made that she needs.

Well if that is true wouldn’t they be up in arms over the anima drought and the stuff coming out of the maw?

I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around this afterlife, it sucks in my opinion.

It probably delves in to the “reincarnation” theory of live and death. I wouldn’t be surprised if people on Azeroth are incapable of reproducing at the moment thanks to the Jailer’s shenanigans.

What I do not get is… Why are Kyrians just shepherding souls and dropping them in to the maw? Seems like an awkward way of handling things should the Arbitor get turned off.

“Hmm, the Arbitor isn’t judging souls at the moment, but there’s a lot of souls need judgement. Eh, lets just drop them in to the realm of eternal torment.”

I mean, I guess it’s the Mawsworn Kyrians that are doing a lot of it. But since Bastion knows the Jailer is up to something, shouldn’t the Kyrians try to shepherd souls elsewhere? Isn’t there a Shadowlands realm where souls should get redirected to if the Arbitor is incapable of doing her job?

Bear in mid those souls thirve on those afterlives.

The stewards basically die if they dont work and everyone else on bastion is a workaholic, on maldraxxus those bastards love to fight even if they have to pick themselves up later, on revendreth you better believe those guys are glad they dont end up in superhell because guess what? its temporal torture with a chance to atone vs eternal damnation on the maw with the rest of the unredeemable souls until your soul gets blasted to obvlivion and turned into fuel, also the process of atoning in revendreth help souls, making them feel better.

Ardenweald is full of furries.

Furries are more cool than Vampires. Venthire bearly peak my Interest.

It is explained and makes perfect sense. But apparently it’s “too complicated” for people to understand.

It’s a bit more intriguing than that and holds a lot of pride and honor. I don’t remember souls permanently dying there, though?

You don’t have to become an animal. And no, your anima is yours unless you give freely. They don’t feed on you or suck you dry.

This isn’t how Revendreth was and it’s now returning to the old ways before Denathrius corrupted them.

And there are an infinite number of afterlives. Not just four.

i’m currently playing genshin and absolutely happy (not going to spend money, i’m fine with free party and occasional free rolls). Yes, they steal stuff from other games, but from very good games so gameplay is great, animations are great and Blizzard been doing same thing for past 20 years anyway.

This guy gets it.

Is it really a choice? It seems every soul in Ardenweald have an animal form except the first Highmountain man [Name escaped my mind atm]. I feel like they have to choose an animal form sooner or later.

I don’t know about Night Elves though.

Anyway, it’s pretty clear this OP just took and completed quests without reading anything.

The entrance to many heavens is in Goldshire on Moon Guard for Alliance.

Not all, no. There are Nelfs there prior to us rescuing any souls that are still in Nelf shape. They just found it easier to go with animals for most, because it’s supposed to be for races from all different planets in the universe. Easier to use existing assets.

LOL pretty much!

Shadowlands is a very depressing expansion and even more so with what’s going on in RL.

I thought the same thing :slightly_smiling_face:

I found heaven in Lady Proudmores quarters with a six pack and a couple of grams of coke
