I was slipping before Shadowlands if I’m honest. I still cared, but I went being lore adherent, to lore adjacent. Shadowlands brought some sort of existential lore crisis and I became lore meh. It’s all just made up bs and if they don’t care, why should I care so very, very much. So wear that murlock PJ set with pride you glorious train wreck!
I still notice stuff from time to time that makes me twitch. I talk to the cat about it and we sit and judge people for a few minutes and then just move on.
It’s a process.
