I’m kinda excited to see what SL is like when it finally releases in 10.0!
Unless DF impresses me enough that I actually buy it…which isn’t likely, but if it happens then I might just be skipping SL completely lol

Well if you just want to raid log or m+, sure, but ZM is a heaping pile of garbage and their open world is still lacking and doubles down on boring elements, buggy elements/ideas.
But this is usually how it always is in terms of unlocking or making stuff easier… hence why people say they’ll just come back at the last patch. The chunk of the expansion life is just them pacing you with their X amount of things to do.

Oh so your doing what I have basically been doing most of the expansion.
Reallly you didn’t have too do much of any of that. I did the bare minimum that was required (which wasn’t anything).

What if I told you you never had to do any of those things and then the game could feel good at any point in the expansion?
All you have to do is forget the word “optimal” and throw away everything tied to it.

That’s how it always is. People always seem to praise Legion but that expansion was complete trash for like the entire first half lol. Even BFA got better towards the end.

Not at all. SL has bleed subs like no other wow expansion.
Shadowlands is trash no amount of bull$h!+ PR and most likely danuser toon propaganda can change that, the above lead narrative destroyer killed WoW story and lore because he wanted to make it more Retarded than game of thrones

I always love the end of expansions, I call it “walking like a god” because I am now at the peak and can, for example, down a rare like Feasting by myself. Geared and max level and nothing on this land can stop me.

Wouldn’t it be better if the game was designed in such a way where players could enjoy the entire expansion and not the “please don’t leave us. here, we’re finally listening after ignoring your feedback for over a year” end?
Because blizz knows they can con addicted people to play the game at launch.

I’ve been saying this for a while now but WoW is only playable at the end of each expac. You’ll gotto know what you’ll are signing up for when it comes to this company.

Unfortunately. Also, 9.0.5 was actually fun so we had a launch window that was hype simply because it was the launch window, and then they placated players with 9.0.5. The expansion really fell apart with 9.1. Bellular video on 9.1 numbers -
9.1 was the downfall of this expansion. This idea that the whole thing was irredeemable is just not true.
In retrospect I would have preferred to just start mid way through. You bypass all the honeymoon distractions but not too late to get macro level stuff done (unless you don’t work and have full free time to binge in final patch).
This is a bit pseudo but I can feel people’s tolerance for things being tangibly broken by like April/May last year. A lot of stress and confusion on when new content was coming. The lawsuit and just seeing korthia/dom sockets were just the final check.
