Oof! That hurts!
I tend to stay a generation behind current just because of the value proposition (unless, of course, there is a major leap). But I couldn’t pass up the sales last Black Friday and ended up getting rigs for everyone, lol… I probably shouldn’t have, because I’m already wondering what the sales will be like this year!

I got my 5700xt last December for $369.
No regrets. I’ll probably grab the new big Navi, shift the 5700xt to the wife, and the Vega 64 to my son
Keeping the card for a backup. I bought an overclocked 5700xt, supposedly it was on par with a 2070.
I’m probably going to grab a big navi when they come out and the price war starts. I’ve been team green forever, but I don’t think the 3070’s are going to be that much better than what I just bought. Not enough to justify an extra 300 anyways.
I thought I’d have gotten better benchmarks with both my 550 board and the 5700xt taking advantage of the new pcie 4.0. Little dissapointed TBH, but I needed a new computer (Wife’s CPU gonna drop dead any time now) and after the free SL, the sale and the rebate I got my OC’d auros for around $330.
