I always get disgruntled with Blizzard for things they do (see my many rants on how bad the story in BfA is) but even leaks like this, real or fake, always drag some hype out of me. I want that to be real because all the stuff with the Shadowlands and death is a newer concept (I say newer in that it was lightly touched on before but mostly the new team has been crafting it, other than the original Arthas/Scourge stuff) and has fascinated me. Bwonsamdi and his master, Helya, Gorak Tul was fascinating, I just want to see more of this.

Im pretty sure at this point even if you remove all the leaks we are almost 1000000% getting a death themed expac at this point. Waaaaaaaaay too much has been setup with that department and Dragons for major stuff with those two things to not happen next expac. I will literally delete my account if it isnt in some way death based

But…bolvar is the lich king, so how is this a leak? Also i fail to see how that would mean shadowlands. Hopefully it’s a new WotLK, not that.

You’re definitely right there. I can’t imagine they’d spend so much time setting stuff up only to suddenly give us World of Warcraft: Rise of the Quilboar or something.

They made sure to establish that Icecrown is an anchor to the Shadowlands in the Vol’jin quests.

Its one of the reasons why I get annoyed when people say dont get hyped for this Blizzcon… Uhhh no I will get hyped because I know my stuff and I know that we will almost 100% get a major death themed expac for WoW and I will also delete my account if D2 remastered or D4 arent announced with how much evidence has been showing up
I chucked over using both Confirmed and Leak in the title.

People are still just fixated on hating Blizzard in every way possible. No matter what they do, no matter what they say, it’s “Not good enough” or “It’s being a sheep” or what have you.
I for one am hyped to go to BlizzCon again. I’m packing this weekend after I finish cleaning and am counting down the days! I get an you’re with Blizzard, but BlizzCon is so much fun.

Shadowlands is… Fine? I guess? I just didn’t like the leak that said we all kill each other in Seige of Stormwind and suddenly join forces with Sylvanas and her actions become justified.
Proven faked and photoshoped.

I wish I could go. Never been to one so far but alas college requires me 
. However I am still going to stare at the Opening Ceremony screen and squeal if any of the ideas we have chatted about end up being true. May just get the Blizzcon ticket out of sheer hope those “coming soon” things are what I hope they are. Sure maybe Im being too optimistic but I sure as hell would rather be too optimistic then be too pessimistic and be one of the people claiming “This Blizzcon will suck” and stand by that even if this con is amazing. I really really from the bottom of my heart hope this Blizzcon hypes everyone back up again and shows us why Blizzard has been pretty quiet lately. Not to mention why the employees all sound so hyped for this one.
I have a running theory that we’re getting a new IP because of some of those Coming Soon! spots.
And yeah, I went last year for the first time because I graduated and it was my gift to me for getting through college. And now with the job I have, I’m going to likely make it my annual vacation because of how fun it is. One day maybe you and I will both be there!
And hey, last year’s was concerned the worst BlizzCon, but I still had fun. And I expect to this year as well. I doubt we’ll get another Diablo Immortal this year, I hope they learned from that.

Oh they are moooore then likely working on a new IP or multiple new IPs but Im not sure we will see them this Blizzcon. From what I have seen and heard from people I trust at least as much as I can trust people via online I have heard that D4 was indeed planned for a Blizzcon 2018 reveal but was removed from the Blizzcon show last second hence why DI was the end instead
I think we’re almost certainly going to Shadowlands, we’ve been pretty sure of that for a while.
I doubt Bolvar will be the villain, though. Might still be Old Gods. Or Ueetay no Mueh’zala?

Here’s the problem with these forums.
When you say Shadowlands, their mind goes to the BS Sylvanas fan fiction leak.
People seem to have trouble understanding Shadowlands as a concept doesn’t have to be related to that leak. Shadowlands is a place that has existed for years, and has been teased in BFA.
Vol’jin tells you he’s going to The Shadowlands to figure out whats going on.

I have a feeling Mueh’zala will be the big bad next expac. At least based off what I have read from the 8.3 ptr.

The source will be that it originated from Bellulars discord. Which is false and many people have already pointed out it didnt. The photoshop part is also wrong as people including myself have been looking and cant find any scene that resembles the picture nor can we find the hammer. Maybe it does end up being a photoshop or maybe I missed something but as of now there are two things happening here. Either some of those assets were created from the ground up by the leaker which means they spent ALOT of time on it. OR It may very well be real at least to a degree. Im happy to take this statement back if I see real evidence supporting that it was photoshopped but I have seen no proof of this whatsoever
