Shadowlands: Castle Nathria and Season 1 Goes Live December 8

They rather compete with destiny 2 since they broke from activision than compete with cyberpunk.

Again this is a game. Grow up.

Didn’t do it in Dragon Soul or Highmaul, in fact Blizzard lost huge chunks of players during those times for releasing raids during the holiday season.

Yeah but you don’t have to choose? If everyone in your guild cares about each other then it should be pretty easy to put things off until everyone is done with their family obligations.

A video game surely comes second to real life right? And if your guild can’t understand that then maybe they’re not as important as you think they are

Yup, an air of rush surround this whole thing to be honest.

I wish people in General Discussion would understand that “Mythic Raiders” and “world first raiders” are two totally different groups, and the former is about a thousand times larger than the latter.

But expecting people in General Discussion to understand anything is too much to ask for, I guess.

Again, people get paid for this “game”. It’s not just a game to some people.

You are not accomplishing anything anyways!!! Get rid of your ego trip mentality and you will relax better.

Cant make every choice with the 1% in mind. Just not realistic

You ever stop and consider that they may extend the season a little to compensate for the fact that everything will be going live over the holidays? This was far from a ideal situation to say the least, and there is not good solution other than delaying the game until January which isn’t a good idea at all. Heck, this will be releasing right around thanksgiving which is going to annoying to say the least when it comes to doing the initial grinds.

I mean, also because those tiers sucked really bad.

The mythic/heroic raiding population is soooo small (as per blizzard’s words) they didn’t lose that many players because ofit.

A lot of people have to work over the holidays to get paid.

Not a lot of sympathy or caring.

What are you talking about? Unless 100% of the guild wants to wait it is impossible to not have to choose.

I know plenty of people that get a full week off. They work salaried jobs. Not that it matters. Taking a day off means you risk losing the race.

Release the expansion the week after Thanksgiving(instead of the week of) then release the raid the first or second week of January. It’s not rocket science.

Lmao, we saw what happened with Highmaul progression when it landed right before the holidays. What could have been quite a reasonable raid just became something no one cared about because everyone missed 2-3 weeks of progression right at the start.

No reason not to just delay the raid until after Christmas.

And they can “work” 10 days before Christmas. I usually work the day before and the day after. Sometimes I have to work on Christmas.

Way more than 1% of the playerbase raids Mythic.
