Shadowlands Campaign skip

I would like a npc in Shadowlands you pay gold to skip the campaign. I wanted to run my friend through SL dungeons but because the way SLs is built it requires campaign progression. I would like a way to fully skip the campaign.

I really don’t want to slog through 2 days of campaign quests to do the dungeons. Since it is old content can we just pay gold to skip campaign? I hope you would consider this thanks.

You shouldn’t have to pay, or run through the campaign. This is just more of the stubbornness that Ion claimed was over.

Yeah. Cause the flight paths are locked out cause you have to progress through the story in order to unlock places. My friend could not see a flight path npc cause he was not far enough along in the campaign.

It’s funny how Shadowlands is now the only recent expansion now that does not have the ability for a player who has already done the campaign to choose which way they go. Why? Because they removed it for whatever stupid reason.

Threads of Fate needs to come back. 1000%. I don’t know why it was removed to begin with.

Why was such a good QoL feature removed? Especially, when Shadowlands, desperately needs it.

They could at least enable flight paths to every Zone so people can at least do the dungeons reguardless of story progression. Unless Im missing something?

They’d have to restructure the entire expansions unlock system to do that.

Currently the campaign unlocks the flight paths as you complete it.

Threads of Fate, when it was still a thing before it was stupidly removed, would skip the entire campaign opening the entirety of Shadowlands to a character, But you skipped the entire campaign with no way of ever doing it on that character. Popped up a huge warning, with Red text, stating this.

It left the option for those who want to do the campaign to do it, and those who don’t… to not. It let alts level up using World quests, dungeons, and the non-campaign quests around the Shadowlands. A character who chose not to use threads of fate, could at a later time, come and enable it at any time. It would then skip whatever remained of your campaign, unlocking all zones.

Does the map to everywhere work on that? If it does, activating it should give them some flight paths, never tried it. I for one haven’t run anybody through SL for a while.

I don’t know never tried it. It could work.

Sadly the FP master does not appear for new to Shadowlands characters within Oribos. Even after using the Warband Map.

A new to Shadowlands character would have to complete the annoying introduction quests, and use the quest to fly to Bastion, run/fly past Kleia, and if they used the FP at Aspirants Rest they would have all the other FPs unlocked. Though, said character in the other zones is most likely going to be super phased until entering the dungeons. And upon flying back to Oribos, the Oribos Flight Master is there.

That is for unlocking unexplored maps, making them “explored”. It doesn’t say on it that it opens up flight paths. Flight paths are automatically opened up on every character in your Warband provided one character has unlocked it.

I said this in another thread that I have seen comments of players claiming SL FP were opened up to characters who had never been to SL, I don’t recall if they used that Warband item or not.

Right now, you can use Mythic portals to get to SL and fly around that way and maybe collects some FP.

All they need to do is fix Threads of Fate. It was working for max level characters right up until patch 11.0.5

Kind of funny though, how many threads we’ve seen about how bad SL was but now that players cannot access it, it’s worse!

Put Threads of Fate back in (I’ve seen people mention a fix is coming in 11.0.7, I’ve not personally seen an Official Post on this) and problem solved.

I’ve got several characters I’d like to open it up on, but like OP, I do not want to do the campaign again, I’ve done it many many times when it was current, fortunately I have enough characters that do have all of SL opened up.

Keep an eye on Anniversary grounds though, for SL portals to maybe come back up, that could be “Transmog Day”.

Is that so? Hmmm! So use one and done?

It makes no sense at all, that “ALL Flight points unlocked for your Warband once one character had opened it up” but not Oribos!

So that means wasting 2-3 days going through story quests just to travel around.

“Hey, you know that expansion that has a real image problem with a lot of players?”

Yeah?"

“Let’s add something to make it super annoying!”

“Excellent idea!”

I just tested it on a brand new character I had. That’s the experience I had.

I chose to fly to Revendreth, and it was like a ghost town. Even some NPCs weren’t populating.

One thing to note, if you have engineering 1, you can buy a wormhole and these will port you to a zone regardless of campaign progress, you’d just need to unlock the flight path before going back to Oribos or wait the 15 minutes to CD. Won’t unlock the campaigns but at least you’ll get to the zones.

Can you access a dungeon though?

Its about an hour to 2 at tops if you also include the Maw experience.

Just have to do the Introductory to Oribos quests, Get the first quest to go to Bastion, Literally skip talking to Kleia, use the warband Map, unlock the FPs already known, and boom.

Now if a player has never been to Shadowlands, and they wish to experience all of its dungeons/raids/content. Then yes, sadly, that player must do most of the campaign to unlock the 4 zones.

Shadowlands was the best expansion ever. Don’t skip it.

Every time I go to Bastion I feel like singing:
All my brain cells have turned to jello

Yes. Using the same test character, going to MAldraxxus this time. I was able to enter The Theater of Pain.

Prior to testing that, had any of your characters ever been to SL? I can’t test it as I would have ALL FP open to all characters as I learned them all in SL.

This is what makes it hard for players who didn’t do SL, at all.

I have no issue with them keeping it as is for players who didn’t do the campaign on any character, ever, I’m also not against having Threads of Fate put in for everyone, let players skip the campaign altogether, it’s now Legacy content, there should be no reason to keep it locked at this point.

Ok, I’m not retyping all that haha
