So I’ve had this issue with this 80 druid. Not a remix toon eitiher. I did the skip as i’ve done on every toon before however they were all 70 or lower. The things I’ve tried is roaming around, jumping off and dying, port out/port back. I even had a buddy do level sync with me and went thru ALL of the annoying maw quests just to see, end result is the exact same. The quest “Stranger in an Even Stranger Land” does not auto-accept or pop-up. This is the issue we are currently facing. It doesn’t even have to do with skipping/not skipping the maw quests, but more along the fact that this quest does not auto-accept for any character that is 71 or higher. I already opened an in-game ticket. The response is that they are aware of the issue, but they currently do not have a fix for it at this t i me, but they are supposedly working on it. Hopefully they fix it sooner rather than later.
Same Issue.
I tried with 3 characters in different ways.
1-Accepting the start quest of shadowlands - Result: Oribos with no NPC associated to quest, but the 2 NPC that greet you normally are in the room where you choose covenants, you can talk to them but they don’t perform any action.
2-Taking the portal to ORIBOS directly - Result: Oribos empty without NPC associated to quest (In this case the NPC mentioned in 1 do not appear).
3-Trial character and taking portal to oribos directly - Result: NPC appear without problems and let me choose covenant. (Probably because these characters are 60 and have the check of having finished the shadowlands campaign).
I hope this log will help me to identify something.
Tomorrow I will try with another character not to omit the maw intro quest.
Sounds like corporate at Blizzard is focused on War Within Expansion. I have the same issue on one of my characters, I accepted the quest, skipped the content, and ended up in Oribos with nothing. I’m not sure how many people are having the same problem but im hoping someone on the other side of these forums (employees) listen to what we’re saying.
Hi friend, it seems as though we’ll have to force each indv character through the content without skipping. All of which seems like a drag. At the moment I only have one character that’s able to move through the shadowlands. I don’t think i ever completed all the content for Shadowlands, im not sure if that’s an issue or not but its extremely inconvenient when all I want is to run old raids for transmogging.
I am just trying to farm tome of binding for my undead hunter pets, and cant get to Maldraxus. says I’m 1/2 chapters completed in Oribos. Arrival in shadowlands being the one I need. Through the Shattered Sky in complete. There are no quests for me to take, FP does not work. Any ideas?

I found some low level quests in Oribos that led me to maldraxus. Wish i could recall the name but if you are just going for tome of bone-binding, try the low level quests in oribos to get to maldraxus. hope this helps <3
I’m having the same issue with my MoP remix goblin hunter. She’s level 70 and I’m not even given the choice to skip to the endgame content. I just wanted to get her some spider pets.
Does this bug occur to people who just go ahead and play through the entire intro without choosing the skip? Or is it specific to choosing to skip the intro?
I’m going to take a new character at lvl 70 through the intro Helm-port to the maw-quests and see how it affects quests in Oribos.

I wish they will at least enable the flight paths to the other zones while they fix it.
Lesson learned, never again do another expansion as unconnected as this one
I actually got a friend to party Sync with me so I could retry and do the intro. Halfway through Jaina failed to spawn and left me unable to complete one of the intro quests. Leaving party sync immediately kicked me back to Oribos and erased all my party sync’d progress.
Well it’s fixed… but if you were stuck like many of us, we won’t get the option to skip the campaign
Its EXTREMELY annoying, I want to do Shadowlands raid but I WONT do the whole campaign again, I’ve already done it twice and it’s boring af

Update from me: I ran through several of the campaign quests on an alt and chose an area to start questing in. Now the NPCs show up and are not hostile. I’m not sure if Blizzard silently fixed it in the background, or if that was the fix, but… That’s what I’ve got. I hope it helps someone <3
Edit for clarity: I still don’t get prompted for the questline, and the campaign shows 1/2 chapters with “Arrival in Shadowlands” greyed out. I can’t quest or anything, but it appears to have vendors now, which is an improvement. Still… no flightmaster. 
It may be linked with how far my alt has progressed in the campaign.
Yeah I am having the same issue. I leveled a paladin, and I wanted to start working on the class mount for it, I didn’t boost this character. I leveled 1-80. I hope this gets fixed soon.
Blizzard fix this please.
I am having the exact same issue.
They have neither acknowledged nor set any expectation about Shadowlands being completely broken, or WoD being almost completely broken.
Same issue here on multiple characters, Blizz really doesn’t care about fixing old content.
Update, got a response to a ticket I submitted, was a generic response saying they are aware of the issue and are looking to fix it in 11.0.7 so yeah, they are just going to ignore it until then.
They aren’t fixing new content, either. The Brutosaur seems to be working, perhaps we could all try one of those?
