Shadowlands better be Game of the Century

Yea it has to be a good expac that much is true. BfA was not terrible just average in most parts and had some good points as well.

Add thin Kultiran model in character customization and I’m in!
But I think they will bump up the graphics and WoW will look badass, even after shadow Lands… we won’t return to old Azeroth

It wont be. Sad to say. Just another dumpster fire we have to wait 8 months to see

PvP, dungeons and raiding in BC was very good & fun. But Outland and questing was god awful and boring.

Slightly better than a Train Wreck. In
live music or theatre, an inept, poorly
executed performance or problem plagued
situation usually caused by poor planning,
bad luck, incompetence, unprofessional
behavior, etc.

Seems like an urban dictionary definition. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Such a sad, sad, unimaginative phrase made even sadder and even less imaginative by that definition. :frowning: Oh well, needless to say, it will not be entering my lexicon anytime soon.

maybe you’ve been in the game or books too long to recognize when someone is being hyperbolic and joking.

we also need to have transmogs reworked a bit. Maybe I want to have a mage that looks like a knight in shining armor for example. Also why bother with level caps on something that is just aesthetics and has no bearing on combat?

I really did not hate BFA.

Was I let down that the Fourth War ended inconclusively and was too similar to MoP? YES!

Did I enjoy this expansion way more than I did any other aside Legion? Yes.

Classic: Good story, good play
Burning Crusade: Good play, bad story (everything needed fixed in chronicle, im amazed people forget how the story seemed out of nowhere but maybe they forgot what Warcraft III was setting up)
WoTLK: Good story, bad play (yall forget the daily quest BS and the OP DKs, youd hate WOTLK today)
Cata: Bad story, bad play (revamp did not age well)
MoP: Good story, good play
WoD: Bad play, good story (if you get over the obv cut content)
Legion: Good story, good play
BFA: Bad story, good play

This reads not good/bad/good/bad but like

Good, meh, hmm, eugh, nice, jeeeez, hey thats pretty good, ugh i mean…okay

Vashj’ir is honestly my favorite cataclysm zone. Arguably, it’s one of my favorites in general. I think the beginning is rough, high mob density, 3d fight field, and I imagine it’s annoying as melee. However, once you adjust and the story gets going, it gets so good. For lore nerds like me, it also has just excellent insight into Naga, which are my favorite race.

Really dude? I wasn’t born yesterday.

Shadowlands to me is a knee jerk reaction to FF’s latest expansion shadowbringers.

Honestly shadowlands needs to actually improve the game beyond a level squish. A level squish is only hiding the problems of the game where characters stopped progressing at level 100.

Squishing to level 50 isn’t going to matter if 1-50 is the same broken classes.

Why? It improved in a lot of flaws left behind by previous expansions, the game felt quite balanced for the first time (except for fire mages). They went ahead and remade the entire world, that alone is a major task and still they gave us 5 new zones and new races .
Cataclysm may not be among the best but it’s certainly not a terrible expansion.

But cata was a lot of fun… liked it more than wrath tbh, and wrath was good

There we go.

ya okay. You need to get out more then.

the world that was remade was worst. The Barrens and Thousand Needles will never be the same for me again…

Clearly you do

I was being sarcastic!

Players generally hope so. But we won’t know for a year plus. Blizz seems to have a pattern of good to bad to good expacs.

Cool, makes me want to play it even more, thanks for that! Can’t wait.
