World of Warcraft: Shadowlands! Itâs the next expansion for WoW set to release in November 2020.
Beta Smeta⊠itâs like entering the lottery now a daysâŠDid a bunch of betas till Cata, and since then nothing. With the popularity of the game now ( as well as the population numbers ) GL with that.
They didnât say November? They said fall.
Covenants are going to be a mess, I look forward to the salt.
But we all know itâll be early to mid November.

this is blizzard after all. when was the last beta where it wasnât just all the famous people, and very few of anyone else
Like, wasnât there pretty solid evidence that when the beta started for WowClassic, they allowed the streamers to log in half an hour early so they could skip the queue? or was that on release day? i cant remember, i just remember someone complaining about it.
Donât forget that there are multiple waves of invites. Of course, the first wave of invites will go to popular faces, but more waves will arrive shortly. Iâm confident that many people will be pleasantly surprised by getting an invite. Just hope, and be patient.
but they shouldnât. beta testing should not be advertising, it should be testing. it should be there to test systems.
hence the name Beta⊠Test. instead of âBeta⊠Preview.â
They give priority to the popular faces so that people who didnât receive an invite can still watch gameplay of the Beta. That way if you donât get an invite, you can still admire it from afar, and provide feedback from a more passive stance. I think itâs a good idea to give streamers and popular faces invites first. After all, if many people without a platform got in and took up spots, how would we see whatâs going on?
You just have to look at the cup as half-full.
