Leveling squish would be nice . Having to play DK and DH at level 1 .

DKs and DH will start at LVL 8 and AR DKs will start at 10 with all the other AR classes.

I really don’t get this, and I’ve tried. There are so many people just furious about the level squish–like really upset about going from 120 to 60 like they’re being demoted or something.

I can’t process that. I don’t “get” what it is that they don’t get, so I can’t engage with it meaningfully.

One hundred is a milestone number. I achieved that milestone on one of my characters for the first time this week. I will not be able to experience hitting that mile stone number on all my other characters because of the level squish so, for me, it is going to removed on of the things I can achieve in the game. And this comes from a casual player that quests as opposed to levels.

You won’t quit. Quitting wow is like quitting smoking… Really hard.

I’m not doing the pay wall this time. I’m not their target market anyways and the streamers I see getting all the input I wouldn’t give 5 cents too. They have folks begging to group with them to do content. That makes a big difference not everyone wants to research content etc to “that intense level”. GG

Lvl squish is a good idea. If they even ever do max lvl increase to 120 to 140 that’s nuts it’s to much. New players will take ages to lvl up that if they even consider doing that but actually glad they did a level squish.

How is the Level Squish bad though?

Becuase the new dev team has proven time and time again that they are in way over their heads with the programing and every time there is a squish, things get messed up really bad. I highly doubt they will be able to pull this one off. I have a feeling that SL is going to be the death of WoW.

Too many pointless empty levels with nothing gained but a minuscule amount of stat increase. The squish needed to happen. Seems like a silly reason to quit but whatever I guess. It’s your time and money.

I can see where you are coming from, having a level 120 character that is OP makes you feel like a god… I get that, but they are also doing the level squish, for a really good reason… if you are a new player that wants to come to wow and you see that the level cap is 130, and you need to start at level 1… are you really going to do the 129 levels? probably not. Remember Classic? (not comparing the overall experience just comparing the levels) it was level 60 as well. When you did your first few levels you felt accomplished and that you made some progression… that is the feeling they are trying to bring back… if they do it right, it will bring new players and old players back. I have high hopes for this, but this dev team does screw alot of things up. I remember the ilevel squish in WOD. that was horrendous.
