what? Mage CAN literally sheep and walk away, sleep, afk text wife, or drink.
You get mana gem as well.
Mage drinks a lot to but nowhere NEAR what spriest does. You can rip off 2-3 kills with mage before drinking
Tons of mage vids showing multi kill sprees before drinking. Mage is OP in classic

I’ve played both extensively in world and instanced PvP, I think the priest is better.
Both get absolutely wrecked by warriors, but the ability to heal and shield yourself while melting faces while you tank hits, blackout procs, instant aoe fear, they’re hard to beat. The shadow priest also absolutely flushes a lock because the priest can dispel most the DOTs.
There’s also nothing more fun than MCing some poor sap off the lumber yard, or a cliff.
And of course, being able to heal in a dungeon or raid, especially with dual spec.

eh… on my spriest I’m usually OOM after a single 1v1 encounter in wpvp, and will always run dry during a longer battle, say in AB. It just is what it is, but I never liked gimping my damage. Gotta pot.

Alliance has the best racial: holy paladins.
But you do bring up a good point. Playing warlock as Alliance is rough since you have to deal with undead. Undead rogue is a warlock’s worst nightmare.

wut?! Yeah, put a R14 lock or Spriest against a R14 war, the war will win every time if the war has more than 2 brain cells to rub together. They can’t be feared, and they just hit and crit too hard. I’m not talking about a war in blues that can’t even break PWS

I beat R14 warriors in duels with only T2 gear and a crappy weapon on my lock.
Warriors suck against lock and spriest as evidenced by every dueling tournament where they lose to these classes.
You are some average player who has encountered bad or under geared people if you think warrior is good in PVP.
There isn’t a single class vs which a warrior is favored to win.

Well if I had a decked out war I’d want to duel, unfortunately I don’t. Nah, in my experience, and I’ve been playing this stupid game since Nov of 2004, if you get an absolutely decked out fury war on you, you’re done.
I’ve consistently flushed Naxx geared rogues on my T2.5 lock during classic era before we all went to BC, but a warrior just always dunks me. Maybe I’m just bad /shrug

I mean, I don’t really duel, nor am I a war, but I’m talking about actual PvP, not dueling with their set silly rules.
Hell I saw saw a T3 geared holy paladin absolutely wreck a T3 lock once.

Well, the paladin stacked shadow resistance. He literally just chased him around whacking away with his healing mace till the lock died. Resisted darn near everything.

I know what you are referring to. Some cringe era duel hosted by bad people.
The next tournament they hosted a T2 lock rinsed everyone even paladins with T3 (the same paladin).

Warriors suck even worse than Paladins at PVP.
Snutz, a lock player, has also won every large PVP tournament ever hosted in Classic. He won 50k in a hardcore classic PVP tournament.
