You’ll definitely be lower priority on caster gear than a warlock would be. But find yourself a good guild and you’ll eventually get the gear. One good thing is in phase 1 you get Anathema, which helps. The epic PvP set is also arguably BiS for PvP.

Gear for spriest you really need to rank to get gear… raid loot just ain’t gonna happen. T 2.5 is decent tho, as it actually has damage and healing, but that’s aq40, you could have all your PVP gear well before then.

Rank 13 isn’t so bad. Rank 14 is significantly more difficult. Still, expect 40 hour grinds in a week unless you want to wait until AV weekend for r12-13. AV weekend might bring your last week down to ~30 hours.

Yes, you have to gain so many points each week which takes like 40 hrs to cap. You basically have to cap to get the last 2 ranks.

Technically you can reach r13 with only 337.5k honor it just takes a few more weeks and overall more time. But might be the only option for people who can’t put that many hours in a single week.

FML lol! That sounds like I prob won’t be BIS. I mean do I have to be a complete sweat lord? Can I be decent without BIS? It sounds like TBC might be dropping before I’m BIS if I go Shadow. What’s still appealing though is I could technically get that gear with BG queues. I won’t have to depend on a raid group. Maybe, I’ve never made it to endgame.
You can get rank 10 set (blue set) pretty easily. It gets a lot harder from R10 to R14.
This is the easier version BTW.
It used to be 12 weeks of complete no-lifeing.

You do get an awesome weapon from MC, benny which is a holy/spriest weapon 2n1 special. Not super hard to get if you don’t mind raid healing.

Soul link warlocks in solo pvp are virtually unkillable. It’s boring as all hell though and bad in organized pvp due to the terrible damage. They take no skill but if you just love to gank it’s the way to go.

For rank 13 probably not. If you can reach 337.5k honor in a week you can eventually get r13. But you can save yourself a few weeks if you’re able to hit 500k. It just takes longer if you can’t.
On a normal week you can probably get around 10k honor per hour. On AV weekend you might be able to get up to 15k honor per hour. So if you can grind honor for ~23 hours on AV weekend you can probably hit r13.
It sounds rough but honestly it’s not that bad. Once you get to r12 you’ll be motivated to finish the job.

I think warlock is the better option for most of your criteria but priest will always have the option to heal (which is also a negative if you don’t want to get pigeon-holed into that). For random wpvp both are excellent choices.

BIS pvp gearing you have to raid to mix and match or obtain certain pieces.

Spriest rank gear is pretty good until AQ
But classic dies at aq forever until they fix the gearing disparity issues between pve and pvp.
