Shadow over Thunder Bluff

I had the quest Shadow over Thunder Bluff, I abandoned it. Thunder Bluff is still full of these Shadow of Uul. I have quit the game and come back. They are still there. How do I return Thunder Bluff back to normal?

See if you can re-acquire the quest, and finish it, as it looks like you are stuck in a phase. If you can’t you’ll need to submit a ticket.

Thanks. I can reacquire the quest. I just changed my mind about doing it. I’ll see what happens to it after the Tuesday reset

You will very likely need to complete the quest to get Thunderbluff back to normal. A weekly reset doesn’t fix anything with quest phasing, unless there’s been some sort of wide spread bug.

That being the case, then I’ll be prepared to fight the Shadows of Uul next time I go back.

Indeed. There are several quests that start storyline events that change an area. A few of them will revert an area back to normal when you abandoned them, but others, once started, need to be completed to a certain point.

It looks like “A Feast for Our Kin” is what started this one, and as far as I can tell it doesn’t clear up until you complete the story line to invite the Highmountain Tauren into the Horde.

If I had read WowHead I never would have started this quest,

I was in the same situation. Had to complete the entire Highmountain Tauren quest line to see the Pilgrims Bounty npcs at the bottom of the lift.|

I suspect I’ll have to make level 60 before I get back to Thunder Bluff.
