Ok i know we just got Demon Hunters as a hero class last expac. But we got Dks in Wrath, nothing in cata, then monks in Mists. So if we follow the pattern we are due for a new normal class. With us going to the shadow lands what better time to bring in Shadow Hunters?? It’s a class that a lottttt of people have wanted for a long time. Could easily make lore reasons for say Void elves, Night elves, and Worgen for Alli. And Zandalari trolls, Darkspear (obviously), and orcs or blood elves. Just the way they made it ok for tauren to be pallies. They arent actual paladins, but close enough for them to be playable. Honestly see that it’s too good of an opportunity

I have but it still upsets me. It is the first time WoW will miss the new class every 4 years tempo. And one class every 4 YEARS really isn’t that much to be honest. Disappointing to say the least.

I think there is plenty of room for additional classes.
I think Tinkerer (something i would rather enjoy very much) would make a great spot wearing mail and being only the second ranged physical damage class in the game.
Blademaster would be another compelling choice i think.
There are a couple of others but you get the gist.

Blizzard needs to stop adding classes for a long time and focus on what they have.
If anything were to be added, it should be additional dps specs for casters, due to the inflation of melee.

I feel like this notion that Blizzard is obligated to add classes every expansion stems from bored players who don’t even like playing World of Warcraft… and want a bandaid fix by adding stuff.
If you’re bored with WoW now, adding a class isn’t going to cure that.

Yeah, they would have mentioned such a “big” thing in the Shadowlands preview.
Sounds like a bunch of alliance wussies cant handle a new class. Heads will explode if they’re forced to play more than “hit with stick” mechanics

Vol’jin is a shadow hunter, Rohkan is a shadow hunter, in the horde war campaing you literally recruit a shadow hunter??? Anyone who has read even a small amount of lore knows about shadow hunters. Basically A rouge-hunter mix with a small amount of shadow priest thrown in there. Originally being trolls in touch with Loa with VERY specialized and intense training.

I highly doubt this will ever happen again due to Legion and Artifact weapons. They’ll stick to hero classes most likely.

Loa and troll masks don’t exactly fit for them. Or anyone that isn’t a troll.
I’m not sure how. While they do deal with the spirits, Shadow Hunters are very much steeped in troll only lore.
