Does my character in underwear, standing in bedroom with right angle, without ALL NSFW THINGS counts as NSFW for blizzard?
I recently got banned for Violation: Disruptive Gameplay (but im a really friendly player and i would never harass anyone or ruin rp) and i think its might be link in my TRP addon.
Does blizzard have their own rules about it or what?
Just in case, im a artist and i drew it, i know what is NSFW and what is SFW. I never do mistakes.
I got a really nice feeling that i got banned for no reason. For sure blizzard will never tell you why they ban people.
Yes, that is the notification you get when you have something in your TRP addon that was reported and actioned by a GM.
Something else to be aware of, the way that reporting works it can be confusing as to who said what - the addon reporting seems to be a bit complicated. GMs have gotten it backwards before and actioned the wrong person.
So if you did not link, or say, something in TRP that is not appropraite for the game, appeal. If you did, then be careful not to do that again
Then you can appeal it. Blizzard readily admits that mistakes can be made. Let another GM look things over.
But while youâre hung up on the art part - it can also be for the text you have in your TRP.
If youâre advertising your art services - that is reportable. Especially if youâre advertising for real world currency in exchange for tangible art.
If part of your profile has any NSFW bits and bobs about what sort of RP youâre open to, that can be reportable. Or if it is thick with language that isnât appropriate beyond a spicy spectrum. That can be reported.
Sure we do. We definitely donât do it for âno reasonâ.
While I can appreciate your talent, Argiopa, you may not be the best judge on what is NSFW or appropriate for our game, as you definitely made a mistake there.
Though the subjects in your pictures are technically clothed, I wouldnât call any of them entirely appropriate. They are highly sexualized, the one that wasnât had writing on the commode that would be inappropriate as well.
Maybe advertise your artistry outside of the game.
If I may add something to this, feel it relates to the core question at hand. You need to be mindful of things other than links in RP profiles.
For those unfamiliar with TRP you can customize various information about your character, such as making your own titles or âclassesâ. While TRP has no limits as to what you can put into your profile (thereâs an option to turn on an adult filter but that requires user input) it can be actioned just like anything else.
Now Iâm of the opinion that what one does in private, provided the partner(s) are willing, is their business but strolling down popular RP hubs with explicit details in an RP profile, publicly visible for all to see? Itâs disrespectful at best.
TRP has gone so far as to add a way to directly add RP profile links to tickets. A simple copy and paste.
Just keep it PG/PG-13-ish and you shouldnât have anything to worry about. If you have additionalâŚchoice information in your profile you may want to clean that up a bit as well.
PG. It needs to stay PG. The Code of Conduct for all Blizzard games is very family friendly. Anything that can be seen by others is subject to those rules.
No profanity, masked profanity, hateful speech, slurs, insults, references to sexual acts/parts, references to certain body parts/functions, advertising outside websites, etc.
Now, what people say in a private chat is not something Blizz goes looking for, but anything that can be viewed by others in General/Trade/TRP/public groups is likely to get reported. The TRP makers worked with Blizzard to make this happen.
