Never is always the wrong word, shoutout to classic
Classic was likely to happen due to nostalgia cash in and technically not having to do any new work.
While you make some good points, I will still hold out hope. although i do realize that you are very likely correct about the fact that they will be Horde… but I can do a horde alt…
some one mentioned pairing them with Arakoa, but I had another idea for the Arakoa… since there are two different models for the Arakoa, the outcasts, and the other one that can actually fly, I say give one to horde, and the other to alliance. but thats off topic…
maybe pair the sethrak with a race we don’t have from another explansion… like perhaps the Ethereals… yees, i know those are unlikely as well, but again, I always hold out hope…
You’re not blizzard, you can’t say that for sure!
The Wall of No was just a clever marketing ploy.
Sneks will come since Blizzard gave up on lore just as bad I gave up on getting in shape.
Contributing to the thread for blizzard Blue Posters to laugh at while they deem most if not all people who post there as “angry sexist gamers” is not on the list of my priorities, but thank you for invitation.
Along with “Hey guys I’m new here” and “Regardless of what other people say about downsides of this game i still love it” posts on Reddit and Twitter, some green posters on forums, and many other things.
You’d be surprised the lengths that marketing teams go for these days, my friend.
I am awfully confused by this sentence.
Though they can laugh at me all they want. I’m pretty easy to make fun of.
So, wait, the people who DON’T think bewbs are the be-all, end-all of what should make for a playable race are the “angry sexist gamers”? That seems counter-intuitive.
Sethrak for Alliance.
I still wanna believe.
This is why I’m confused.
Boobs are fine? No boobs are fine? Just makes more sense for a reptile race not to have boobs since they’re not mammals? But by all means give the snake women boobs for crying out loud. Idc.
Nah they just generally dislike the community as a whole. The only thing that makes them say nice things to us is their contracts.
Now, that’s not to say that this isn’t a fault of vocal min-majority of people who stuck in the feudal era of thinking, but still.
That is not my argument, this is what I see looking at blizzard work. If we had at least one playable race without sexual dimorphism, I wouldn’t bring this up at all.
I want REALISUM for my hero who tosses magic around, can eat entire buffets in 20seconds, teleport around Azeroth. Die and come back to life.
I WANT REALISUM NOW!!! Also Snek women with scaley bewbz!
And yet you went out of your way to create a thread just to antagonize the idea instead of getting there to discuss your points?
Yeah, I’d never rule anything out permanently.
But those wonderful NPC were amazing and my nightborne looks like her family tree is a shrub.
Any hype-trains for anything, be there race or a thing is usually really one-sided and consists of “yes” or “don’t post here if your answer isn’t yes”, making it into a yes-man thread.
I think you’ll agree that seeing someone telling them that sethrak is not to be playable even in near future in thread where everyone wants them to be playable is a bit out of place to put it mildly.
I just want anything playable that is scalie, but I know I’m not getting it.
Never say never. Trends you see or not.
Even on pro-race-X/Y/Z threads you’ll find people like that, yes, disagreeing with you without reasoning. But you’ll also find people willing to discuss if it’s put in a civil manner.
Again, not out of place at all if you offer your perspective in a civil way.
I’m not a Sethrak fan, and probably won’t even create one if they become available, but I support the idea for the sheer diversity that it would insert into the race selection. The game needs more races that don’t resemble humans.
Someone has to be first. “It can’t happen because it hasn’t happened” is a circular argument.
They already made their reason clear:
Just another troll desperately seeking attention.
Their entire “argument” boils down to:
“Dude trust me, I’m smarter than you.”
