I agree! Everytime I suggest that Kul Tiran males could get their ‘thinhuman’ option finished (e.g. porting the rest of the hair, faces and beards), they could be available for KTs as an option.
And the responses were: No race ever got 2 different models to choose from. Posture change is the same model. Blabla…

This is the best reason to add them to the Alliance. It will help finally bridge that gap.
Also blizzard has never said that loa would never be open to the Alliance.

Hardly an issue. Also both Umbric and Wyrmbane show interest in them. Not hard to have them reach out after the war, or for the Faithless, now on the run, to seek Alliance support.
Blizz can make it work.
100% the best thing about them. No issue there.
They had a rather large amount of work done, at the time comparable to Vulpera in most respects, however much of that was then removed.
Harder to tell one way or another.
They have continued to do well on polls and they have a larger following on this forum. Blizzard is likely aware of the interest either way.

The reason the Vulpera went Horde is because we saved them from being murdered, imprisoned, and their homes being burned by the Alliance.

2020 has not been nice to me. Mom has stage 4 colon cancer, snake died from kidney or liver cancer. I didn’t get the tumor biopsied or bloodwork done to determine which because it had grown far too fast and was already terminal. He died a month after I first noticed the lump and 2 weeks after I got the x-ray results from the vet. I miss him a lot but this would be a way to honor his memory. 
And I already have his name saved on a server just in case Sethrak are to be made playable. His name was Hershey and he was a Hognose Snake. He’s gonna be a Sethrak Hunter because Hognose are known for dramatically feigning death.
Even came up with a silly little backstory that he went to Ardenweald and was reborn as a Sethrak.

That animation is actually not unique. Quillboar also have it. At least one of the quillboar models does.
I agree, where are our much ignored Jinyu/Ankoan who are always sidelined every expansion.
I think that’s because they’re reskinned Tauren. And use Tauren animations.
It’s the same with the Ankoan. They have a HoA animation because they have all the Night Elf animations.
It’s only odd for Sethrak because for a mostly unique model, they have the HoA.
The quillboar HoA animation is also “broken”, they hold the heart upside down, also the pose is identical to the Tauren HoA. A problem the sethrak HoA does not have. It’s also different from the female worgen HoA.
Still still this is only proof that they took the time to add and make it specially to the sethrak. While interesting does not mean much outside that they had the love of the blizz artists.

I remain optimistic that they were at least considered an AR and Blizz did the groundwork. Just in case.
It also makes their lives easier if they do decide to implement them as playable in the future.
We shall see what the future holds.
Blizz and the community have killed any interest I have for any new races. Random monster gets added into game lore, 2 days later Alt Andy blows up the forums about how X race is so cool and we need to add them.

Sethrak will never be playable until Blizz adds a female model, how do I know? Because all playable races have sexual dimorphism. (I have no problem with this trend changing but the track record speaks for itself.) Dem sneks gotta have snitties.
Perhaps, but you did mention that the sethrak model is based on the worgen skeleton. Plus there is many other npcs that have animations that are normally only seem on player animations with unique models. As someone who has looked through the files a lot I’ve seen stuff like bosses with dance emotes, npcs with wearably player armor that are using unique models.
Hey now. At least I am pretty consistent. As this is the only race I have genuine interest in becoming playable.
