If I remember correctly, I think you can transfer server and account in a single transaction. If that is the case, 1 and 2 are on a single cooldown.
3, 4, and 5 share a second cooldown (you can’t change faction without changing race, and a name change is included with the race change).
The one snag I see is that when you transfer a character to a different WoW license on the same Battle.net account, you can’t change the character’s name for 30 days. If you’re transferring to another Battle.net account, you can’t change the name for 90 days.
That is why this Alliance Character was transferred to my WoW2 account…it will eventually become a Vulpera Mage, which this character was until I transferred to Alliance. Now I am changing it back.
I did log into the character after the transfer was initiated just to make sure the character was still on the realm.
Very likely it did. You may need to submit a ticket under purchase failure, I’m pretty sure that’s what I’ve seen the SFAs suggest when people have done that in the past. Once you start a transfer or service on a character, it’s pretty much don’t touch it until you see the character is where it’s supposed to be and you’ve gotten the confirmation that the service is complete.
I guess I mis-spoke. The actual transfer did not take place. The token did not work. So I can play it until the token gets fixed. I do know not to touch it until the transfer is finished and I even wait a day or two after the transfer before I attempt to play it. I have done this kind of thing many times before.
