I actually lucked out. I was supposed to work 3-9 EST but got asked to work 11-7 instead, so i got to work when the servers were down, and will get home an hour after they’re supposed to come back up.

Blizzard learned the lesson long ago. Don’t do a patch or pre-patch with a 4 hr window. They always make it at least 6 hours now. Even if they finish early, and it is possible, it cuts down on the “why isn’t it up yet?” posts.
