Did 2 transfers over the last 2 days, did 1 this afternoon and shows completed yet nothing has shown up on the new server. Wondering if this is a holiday related issue or just backlogged? Others went through fine. Even tried the create a new character trick, nada.

Do you have multiple game licenses or Blizzard accounts and accidentally include that additional level of transfer?
I assume you’re trying to transfer off of Area 52? I’m having the same problem.

Same issue. Tried to transfer off Mal’ganis and it just says Error occurred. Please come back later.

Same… I’m trying to transfer off of Kel Thuzad and it says “Error Character Transfer”, “An error was encountered. Please come back later.”
Finally got into Area 52 and I have the exact same message with the little cog icon.
Same here going from moon guard to bloodhoof
Same going from Tich to Khadgar.
Also having this issue trying to transfer my Monk
Payed for a character transfer to my other account last night and its been stuck on “Error has was encountered, please come back later” right next to the yellow triangle/gear Icon. Well its going on 12+ hours now my card was charged and my character is still stuck on this account.
I just paid for a character transfer about an hour ago from Kel Thuzad going to Dentarg. The payment shows as complete, however, on the character selection screen it shows “Error Character Transfer”, “An error was encountered. Please come back later.”
A bit frustrating.

Same here, just bought a character transfer and the same thing happened. Not sure what to do, i just opened a new ticket.
I did the same on 26NOV20, at around 1800 hrs server time. Yet, the character is still on Area 52.
So a few hours ago I bought a character transfer for my Warrior. Transfering from Moon Guard to Bloodhoof. Immediately it gave me an error saying “An Error occured, please come back later”. I checked on the order status part of the blizzard sight, and it says it was completed, but it hasn’t.

Yep same here, you’re not the only one! Exact same thing happened to me transferring my other shaman from BleedingHollow to Khadgar.
They need to f ix it. I can’t level my main if it’s stuck in a t ransfer.

I just payed for a character transfer off Area 52 to Garrosh for character OverRaged and it doesn’t seem to have worked Sure took my money though… Please Fix this Jesus… One should not have to pay to transfer their character to a less populated server once Q times reach such extremes should be instantly free transfers of such realms. Thanks to the lack of urgency on your part BLIZZARD pretty much forcing us to pay to play our characters because of “MEGA” servers when literally every single aspect of the game is cross realm anyway… Here’s an Idea LOCK such servers from any new players and give free transfers 3 days come-on…
