My guild transferred to sulfuras while I was at work today. By the time I got home at 2pm It wont let me join my guild and friends without paying . I really don’t feel like this is fair.
The Guild Transfer service has always included a transfer for the guild itself and the Guild Master character. It has never allowed all members to transfer free of charge.
It looks like the free transfer window to Sulferas closed about an hour and 20 minutes ago at 12PM Pacific time. So, you would need to purchase a separate character transfer.

I’d say it is fair insofar as everyone had the same opportunity-- the free transfers weren’t closed prematurely, it went right until it was scheduled to close 80 minutes ago.
But I would go far enough to say that it’s a pretty crappy thing to wait until last minute to do so, but that’s something you should take up with your guild, not Blizzard.

Echoing this. Poor decision on your guild to do this so last minute when it was very likely for some members to find themselves in the exact position you are currently in. Not much you can do at this point unfortunately.

Looks like there are indeed character services available, but the guild services may only be available in-game.

is there a timeframe when they will allow transfer to mankrik? It sucks cause im trying to transfer from whitemane to consolidate my toons
Customer Support wouldn’t have that information as that’s more of a development decision. Keep an eye on the Classic forums, as that’s where information about transfers would be posted.

I am sorry to hear that, Ranoth. Unfortunately, there isn’t a lot that Customer Support can do here. I’d recommend posting in the Wrath of the Lich King General Discussion so that our Community and Devs teams can get an idea of those impacted by this.
