So i’ve been trying to change my server on my classic character and i’ve seen alot of people have the same issue of “something is in your mailbox” even though nothing appears, i deleted all WoW santa mail including the one after 24 hours i have nobody on ignore and have waited for some sort of mail and still nothing after about an hour so im just unsure as to what is causing the problem and wondering if anyone else is having the same issue
It’s probably some incoming mail, from what was said on these forums earlier.

yeah you would think so but im mostly a solo player so i really doubt i would have any mail besides the christmas mail of which i got both
I know there are other quests out there that send you mail, not related to Winterveil.

other quests that take longer than 24 hours? i waited to make a forum post after i saw you might have mail from christmas stuff so i would have recieved it by now i would think
I know there is one that takes 48 hours. Honestly a blue might be able to check, but seeing that’s it’s 3am in Cali, you are gonna probably have to wait til some one gets into the office to make sure.

do you know the name of the quest? i’ve only done some more minor dungeon quests in the time i’ve been waiting

You actually have two, Larva. One is just a letter, the other has an attachment from Winterveil.

so i actually dont see either of those mails i collected both of the winter veil mails and i see no regular ones i dont think it would be pending either since i have been checking and looking for any mail so i can clear my mailbox for the transfer for about two days now
Have you tried doing a full UI reset (as detailed in the Support Article linked below) to rule out any type of display issue?

I’m having the same issues. I’ve been trying to transfer my 60 Warrior “Berzerk” Pagle - US and it keeps telling me that i have to clear my mail on this character. I’ve waited and checked all mail incoming and outgoing but I did read something about ghiost mail and that a GM has to help fix that. I even downloaded another addon to see if that would catch it “Postal” but no luck. Can a GM please help? I have a ticket opened but 24+ hour wait time is obscured.
You have two, and they should show up in the next 24 - 48 hours.

If they are empty mail can they be deleted by you if I authorize you to do so? I would rather get my transfer going if they have no impact i.e. AH or lost mail etc.
They both have attachements, they are the ones connected to Winterveil.
You could certainly ask they be deleted via ticket, but they may show up naturally before it comes up in queue. Certainly couldn’t hurt to ask.

No worries then, so it’s the recent winterveil quest that caused it. Thank you for looking into it. The ticket time is 24+ hours so who knows which willl come first the mail or a GM in-game response.

Orlyia, can you please check for me again as I have received both mail items finally but it still says that I have mail. This is becoming a big inconvenience to be quite honest and the ticket I opened still has 24+ hours before anyone can help.
