I’m so confused… Everything is saying it’s a server restart, and should be back up in an hour. Are we not going to see any downtime for the actual launch of WOTLK at 6pm?
Also, does this mean we are losing joyous journey after the hour restart or at 6pm tonight when WOTLK launches?
Shouldn’t be any downtime, the expansion is already loaded into the game all they have to do is flip a switch to activate the boats
As for Joyous Journeys…that remains to be seen. It’s not like they’ve told us anything about anything
It was posted as a restart. Maybe they have to shutdown all servers at once and restart them for whatever is happening. I don’t think there will be a restart for WotLK launch. I’m hopeful joyous journey will remain until WotLK launch. If it’s not, that’s cool.
Its a restart, but they are planned to be fully done with the restart at 8am (PDT)

Damn I hope they keep joyous journeys absolutely, one of the goods that the dev team did and will keep a ton more players playing the game 1-80.
