Looking to transfer servers once pre-patch hits. Looking for a nice medium/lower pop server with an active raiding community. Will be playing alliance side and PvE is preferable unless anyone can recommend a nice PvP server with a great community. I played on Atiesh Horde side a while back and loved the community there so I’m hoping to find something similar but Alliance side.
Lemme know if anyone has any suggestions for a decent server so I can check them out. Much appreciated!

Grobbulus
This was actually one of the servers I was checking out but had a little reservation due to the RP aspect. Perfectly fine with RP but not super into it myself. Are you expected to RP or stay in char as you play or is it kinda more another aspect of the community you don’t necessarily need to take part in.
Very few people actually rp on Rp servers. It’s just like any other server we just have naming rules that are rarely enforced. The name of the toon you posted on would be perfectly fine.
Cool, thanks for clearing that up! I also have a gnome lock I plan on transferring over named Dazzlebonk. Would that be acceptable on an RP server?
Sure. It’s unlikely anyone reports your name unless you’re trolling. There are plenty of non rp names on Bloodsail.
I played on Moon Guard for 9 years on retail and Grobbulus on Classic. I have never RP’d. I like RP realms because it keeps the idiots away. They think everyone RP walks around emoting in Shakespearian english. The general maturity level, age and educational level on RP realms is palpably higher than your big PvP mega servers. Going from Tichondrius to Moon Guard was amazing. Sure, the RP realms are generally behind on progression but don’t let that fool you into thinking there aren’t superb players on them.
Yeah that sounds like what I’m looking for. I’m not hardcore by any means so being behind on progression really doesn’t bother me. Thank you for the suggestion! I’ll go check it out!

Bloodsail is a fine server indeed. Played ally, now I’m moving horde side because Belfs.
I’m the guild leader of a Grobbulus guild that is actively recruiting during prepatch for new raiders. We play on an EST time schedule even though it’s a PST server. There are tons of great raiding opportunities Alliance side opening up right now especially as everyone open recruiting for TBC. You’ll probably love the server.

Ah cool, I’m actually transferring with a friend. I plan on going shaman (havent decided between enh or resto yet) and they’re gonna be rolling resto druid. Maybe I can hit you guys up once we transfer over and see if you guys have room for us.
