Currently have a level 72 on Pagle Alliance, kinda like it but I’m just leveling solo. Got a character boost gifted and wondering if I want to do some light raiding in the future if I should use it on benediction instead since it has a higher population. Wondering what people’s experiences are on either pagle or benediction and/or both and what your recommendation might be
Pagle here since day 1.
I love it. Never thought of transferring off of it.
Benediction is a mega server after alll. Lots more guilds. Lots more players of course.
I’d first look around Pagle chat and server discord to see who is recruiting.
Talk to them. If no luck, xfer.
If you don’t already have a group on Pagle, then you’re SOL.
The only non-guild runs are RMT.
yeah perfect response here.
Thanks for the replies - I guess you guys are kinda implying that Benediction might be better if I wanted easier pugs and I would need a guild to be more successful on Pagle
higher pop server = more players = higher pool of players = higher competition too = but also more groups.
Are you maining as shaman? Because Rshams, iirc, are in demand on Pagle.
Check Pagle realm discord.

Go to recruitment tab on the server and see what people need.
Message those people directly and just send a wall of text.
"Hi im so and so. I’m new/old player. Just joined pagle. My experience is XYZ. Leveling a shamy now at level 73 and would you be interested into getting Elem/Resto/Enha on board. I’m committed to performing. No issues with attendance etc etc etc.
Just explain all the details. Everything. Some will say no. Some will chat with you.
We’re all people. And the vast majority of people in Wrath are like 30-35 year old dads. No one is really mean or rude.
hey this was super helpful, thanks a lot for responding - I think I might stick with Pagle based on what you said
Mechanics can be taught. Gear can be given.
Most guilds look for people who are not complete imbeciles and can actually learn stuff. And willing to learn and put in time and effort.
The worst type of players who do nothing on their own and expect to get carried.
Like, I recently join a new guild on my main (5.7 GS) and had 2 alts - 5.3 and 4.5 gs.
They wanted my hunter with 4.5 GS but ofc they wanted me to put in work and get it done.
I suffered through dozens and dozens of H++ runs. Pugged everything I could. Spent gold and gems etc etc. Skilled up engineering on that hunter too. To do everything I could to get up to speed. They were thankful and I passed my trial with flying colors.
We have wildly different experiences with the server, then. Maybe it’s the time I play, but everything I see is just people trying to 1-up each other with gearscore and crapping on anyone who doesn’t buy their gear.
The discord in particular is clogged with garbage people, and is run by a self-important wannabe.
I’m glad it works for you, but just weighing in here with a view from the other side of things.
I mean, there are like 20,000 people You’re bound to run into a-holes here and there.
I was with my old guild since BT TBCC but I left and took my Valanyr with me because, recently, there was a guild merge to combat roster boss and a boys club was formed and I never partook in bulling. Tons of people left the guild and I was soon to follow.
But, on discord specifically, I straight up made a WALL of text in direct message with all links to logs, screenshots, etc etc etc.
And I’ve talked to like 6-7 guilds. Some said “damn you good, but we dont need your class”. Others said “Would you swap to feral” and I said no. Then I joined another one as a boomie trial (my OS) and they said they actually wanted feral.
Then I found a guild that gets 50/50 done on their ALT runs and they love me as Resto.
It’s a hit or miss.
I haven’t played on Pagle, but I’ve transferred my alliance characters to Benediction, particularly level 60s from WoW Classic who were on Whitemane, that I had transferred to Eranikus with the free transfers when that server opened up, and then they opened up free transfers to Benediction a few months back.
I’ve only run a few Auchindoun instances, but looking at other peoples’ gear and how they played, it felt like they were mostly new to WoW, which I found surprising and somewhat refreshing.
Hmm to be honest with the time I have these days, I don’t think I could put the effort in for that and I’m probably not a good fit for a guild in that case. I’m thinking I might be spending most of my 20 minutes of playtime just going the RDF when it comes out - in that case, maybe I might as well stay on Pagle anyways. Thanks for your input!
That is refreshing actually, thanks for your insight
There’s a subpar guild >Kush Lords< on Grobbulus-Horde – seems like you’d fit right in.
I love Pagle, there’s plenty to see and do. Look around and ask a few folks, there’s always recruitment going on for guilds.
