The queue usually starts at 3pm CST and extends until about 1 am CST. On each end its about an hour wait, but towards the middle it’s as bad as 3-4 hours. Playing on a low pop server is “viable” but for anyone without unlimited time, it’s an objectively worse experience. This is why it infuriates me that Blizzard is pushing the notion that all players need is the bare minimum (which is what I hear when anyone says “viable”.).
People want OPTIMAL not “viable”.

Everyone who has played WoW knows the ebb and flow of populations throughout expansions.
Anyone going to a low population server will be paying money to transfer back about 5 months in.
Which would be fine, if it didn’t involve leaving all the friends you have made on your current server.
You know, since it is an MMORPG and all, which is completely based around community, group, and guild interaction.
Until blizzard is faced with having to spend money to fix their game, then suddenly you’re the good guy if you abandon all that.
