Anyone else being constantly kicked off the server or not even able to make it fully into the character selection screen before server disconnects? Been happening for about an hour now. No idea what to do…
I know of at least 3 other friends it’s happening to as well.
Its happening to me as well, lost my 46 according to me being able to log in shortly. it lets me stay in, but chat doesnt work and it disconnects after a minute. im so furious right now.
When I get on it shows server side latency over 2,400. Apparently it’s only affecting certain players
Yes, I’m being held prisoner in this ceaseless loop of disconnects. To say I am not pleased is an understatement!
Ya it’s infuriating. Had a free night to enjoy the game but might as well not even try. Literally been broken/bugged for over an hour and no blue post in sight. And it’s definitely a blizzard side problem
Same issues on Dreamcythe tbc, on one of those occasions I was able to execute the APM necessary in such a short window to disable all addons. Unfortunately it doesn’t appear to be an addon issue at all. In the last couple patches i have noticed an uptick in random disconnections, I shrugged and figured “hey, Blizzard is a small indie company give them time,” however this issue of repeated disconnections today is spanning across multiple editions of wow. From retail, to tbc to era hardcore. Blizzard did something. I saw in other forum posts with this topic people insinuating there was a DDOS? I think not. 1. I think Blizzard would immediately come out and saw if there was a DDOS attack, because it would prove it’s not their fault. 2. one person reported success with using a VPN for whatever reason (this person claimed this might be a routing issue), which in my opinion seems to indicate that this is a Blizzard servers (plural)-wide issue and nothing else.
It’s happening across all eras, all servers. I’m only guessing but it acts like a DDOS attack. It may just be glitched code, but that should have popped up right after they came back up this afternoon, not over 12 hours later.
