Seriously Blizzard?

Please for the love of WOW help me out here, I cannot continue questing like this with such a crappy UI setup. https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/433229304881741844/1049135882675965952/image.png

I need numbers on here so badly.

What the hell is that UI???

It’s the stupid questing UI you get whenever you’re doing things like killing birds in the sky or something.

oh, wow, well I use Elvui (if you’ve never used if it’s a bit complex) but it’s really nice. Better than whatever that is. I’d look on YouTube there are a lot of UI tutorials to make things look better for wow.

I use bartender, but I don’t know what the actual hell this dumb thing is called. I am trying so hard to restrain myself from using cuss words because right now, I have nothing nice to say about this issue I am encountering.

Rigatoni, you know where the proper place to post a bug is and you know this isn’t that place.

I don’t think this is a bug though lol. So, why should it be posted here?

The picture looks like a vehicle control bar, maybe the possession bar. I’d turn off bartender and see if that helps.

Or at least update Bartender. I use Bartender and don’t have that issue.

Feedback or reporting a issue will fall on deaf ears bug is the proper place regardless.

Then it belongs in the UI forum. “Seriously Blizzard?” Blizzard isn’t seeing this as you’ve been well-informed in previous threads that this forum is one for players to assist other players. So you posting here isn’t doing anything you think it is.

That is not a regular UI, you are stuck in a vehicle UI probably as a result of a quest bug or a corrupted UI. You need to exit the vehicle. Does it do anything at all if you click on the yellow down arrow on the right?

Or, try doing a proper UI reset.

That’s the Blizzard Vehicle UI, and there’s a toggle for it in the Bartender options. It’s one of the first checkboxes.

“Use Blizzard Default Vehicle Bar” or something like that. Uncheck it. It’ll then put the abilities on a standard action bar next time you “get into a vehicle.”

As for you “needing numbers on here,” I am not sure what you’re referring to.

I took your post to mean you don’t want that bar there, but if you’re stuck in a vehicle, and the “exit” arrow won’t work, type “/leavevehicle” to get out of the thing.

this thing.

the default UI should put numbers on the keys.

it doesn’t seem to do it any more.

Like keybind numbers, you mean? Or the macro text?

Both of those are also “toggle-able” in Bartender, which Rigatoni said they’re using.

yes, like keybinds.

not sure why everyone is obsessed with bartender…

i was finally able to uninstall bartender with the new UI.

next time i’m in a “vehicle” i’m going to have to check if there are any inbuilt options which aren’t immediately obvious when setting up keybinds.

I don’t think everyone is. I mean, I’m not ‘obsessed’ with any addon, really. Bartender is simple, neat, easy and does what I want. It does things the default UI - even with the new Edit mode - cannot do. As a simple example, you cannot resize bars in Edit Mode.

(Edit: Fair enough, I was proven wrong on this. I offer up the reader’s choice from the five pages of options available to each bar when running BT as my new talking point.)

Vice-versa, I personally think ElvUI is unattractive, and I could say the same thing about everyone being obsessed with ElvUI (you see that discussed as much as Bartender). But, I won’t, because I know it’s just down to an aesthetic choice.

I mean, it’s down to what one wants, and some folks like to piecemeal their UI together rather than have it all from one place. I don’t think being fond of an addon and discussing what it can and cannot do qualifies as an obsession.

My shoulders hurt already today.

sure you can…

Can you Alpha them out of view?

i don’t know what that’s meant to mean.
