Well no I said people do older raids for a lot of reasons.
I honestly don’t see the difference. Doesn’t running for various reasons = willingly running them? My argument is that people aren’t running them - or certainly not enough.
But people are running them and were running them back in the day as well all the way through ICC.
I’m looking in LFG Chat right now and there are multiple T7 raids forming.

Sure and RDF is another option on top of that, one which also helps take advantage of that opportunity in the first place.

Honestly it’s a gamer culture thing….
Classic-TBC-Wrath all share a familiarity in that it’s player base wants you to work for it… Blizzard wants to sell you a fast pass and everyone is sorta ok with this arrangement.
The reason as best described by the countless threads and comments of developers is that RDF was a device that could negate hard work with socialization OR fast pass cash….
Why pay for a lvl 70 boost if you could just do RDF while afk in Pick a City?
Why grind up the old fashioned way with quests and stuff and get into guilds if you can create a sub-culture within RDF… It eventually becomes toxic. Where is my proof? LOL this has already happened! That’s exactly what happened and the endless amount of threads and blue notes supported it’s removal….
This really wasn’t a thing though, unless you levelled as a tank.
For 4 out of every 5 people in RDF parties questing was still done cause it was faster than RDF (even for tanks it would be) without accounting for queue times.

RDF, once a powerful edition to the Wrath of the Lich King expansion soon degraded into a wasteland of useless raiders, ninja and trolls…
As opposed to the wasteland of useless raiders, ninjas and trolls currently only doing H+, gotcha.

It’s the SAME ones that will join you in RDF… They will never allow you to enter them freely… You will be subjected to their trollish behavior from now until Cataclysm rides in with its Big Brother… RRF Then things really get ridiculous… and Bad.
Instead of reading the guides and watching the videos of complicated Raid encounters people will roll into these things half baked, clueless and unprepared. That will make them difficult to complete and thus the toxic environment will have reached its final phase…

Make your own H+ group and invite high gearscore people and get carried?
